I'm smelling desperation from a lot of toy retailers this last few months - the trend for people buying less at Christmas, creating less waste, and less plastic tat overall has got them spooked.

I think we'll see some of the best toy deals of all time later this festive season, as their fear takes an icy grip, so the brave HUKD member should hold steady.

Don't buy until you see the whites of their eyes!
This explains why all the lego just went back up to full price

I'm sure this explains why insert any popular toy previously discounted has gone up to full price!
You can tell argos is a sainsburys affiliate now, everything is 20% more expensive than everywhere else.

no 3 for 2 in 2019 which was going seasonal last year?
Not impressed at all. As mentioned before, even with the applied discounts on many of the lego sets, argos are just matching others deals or prices that already exist elsewhere...
Is this working at the moment? I'm putting in code but it says it has expired? Thanks

Yep Con deals only suckers will succumb
Agree its not the best offer ever as last week I bought My First Car Creations Building Set (10886) for £9.50 & Ninjago Stormbringer (70652) for £19.50 & got a further 10% off using the Lego10 code.

But this code lets me get another set I wanted with 20% off. Last weeks code on would have given me 10%. I'd prefer a 33% discount but its getting too close to xmas that I dont want to risk having to pay rrp.

Thanks op
not too bad i want a few lol things so will save 40 quid if 2 for 3 was on would save a lot more tho
If it works on the LEGO Technic Land Rover Defender that will be the best price anywhere. £128 is £20 cheaper than anyone else. Not all of the prices are a con.

I think if it was 2 for 3 you'd be saving considerably LESS!
Code not working on Lego! Shame, it's just Argos advert.

Damn, need to open my eyes! Sorry!
Is the Fortnite Advent Calendar likely to be included? It's currently the cheapest at £35 so an extra 20% and I'd cave in and buy!
Cheers op
Great

Get it at 20% off, if you find it cheaper later buy the cheaper one and return the 20% off one.
Is this advertised online?
It won't make any difference they will up the prices to be 20% more expensive
Any one know a toy I can add costing 50p and get the Harry Potter Calendar using the code. Googling and searching Ive not found anything!
I went into Argos the other day and the lady behind the counter informed me Argos will no longer be doing 3 for 2 on toys. They have deals like this instead now.
All prices has gone up by 20% before the event. One of the toy was 27£ before event and now gone up to 33£
Didn't work. Expired!!!
Would the winter lol dolls house be included in this. Anyone no.
Im not buying this for me.... its for my child... i have a child... this isnt for me
Any idea when this is going live tomorrow? I have my eye on the Harry Potter train/tower
This explains why staff discount goes back down on the 6th November...
Nice offer, heat added @goonertillidie
No Doubt about quality of lego toys, but trust me discount is not what i expected.
