I'm smelling desperation from a lot of toy retailers this last few months - the trend for people buying less at Christmas, creating less waste, and less plastic tat overall has got them spooked.

I think we'll see some of the best toy deals of all time later this festive season, as their fear takes an icy grip, so the brave HUKD member should hold steady.

Don't buy until you see the whites of their eyes!
This explains why all the lego just went back up to full price

I'm sure this explains why insert any popular toy previously discounted has gone up to full price!

There are a couple of £2 blind bags (Paw Patrol and DC heroes I think, just search blind bag) but based on your interest in Lego I'd go with a £2.99 Lego minifigure one (£2.40 after code).
Anybody know what time this promo starts - 12.01 tomorrow?

Pay the price you want and do your research. No doubt a few toys may end up a good price, but probably not many
Codes not working
Thanks OP i've reserved the Frozen singing dolls, they're bigger than the Disney store ones and this will make them cheaper too
I’ve reserved the barbie camper and imaginext Jurassic dinosaur. I’m hoping they’ll be included as it will save me £22.

Let's say that before this week the regular Argos price was £100.00 (this makes it easier for my brain).

This week they put their prices UP by 20%, so it now costs £120,00.

Tomorrow they reduce their prices by 20%, which in this case is now £24.00, making the price £96.00.

So you save a massive £4.00 (or 4%)!!!

Argos generosity at its best.
As expected their prices are more expensive than other stores so thats why they are giving 20% off. So cheaper on Amazon even with the Argos 20% off

the only 3 for 2 that I found was for earings... they've stopped doing that for toys and costumes
As usual, clickbait email title

Let's face it, no matter what Argos do in this "sale", you know Amazon will match it (or beat it) within a couple of hours. They're taking no prisoners in The Great Toy War.

Only becomes a fair fight when retailers go nutty with the big 50-80% clearance offers we tend to see towards mid December.

Like I said, "the whites of their eyes!"

exactly what I need...but bought for now the Lego minifigures for £2.99... funny that another member here suggested that.
but thinking to go there and browse through their catalogue... maybe could find something there.. will see..
Just decide what you want and shop around.

Example; lego 31058

Argos £13.00 before 20% discount
Amazon £12.86
John Lewis £8.97

It's a no-brainer. Even if Amazon match Argos after discount, John Lewis will still be cheaper, and they're not making a big fuss about it.

Smyths might be cheaper for something else., Boots for something else again.

There is simply no single Holy Grail for all cheap Lego
This replaces the three for two which isn’t happening this year 😞
What time does this start tomorrow?
From past experience does anyone know how Argos run this with purchases via Ebay/Argos? Will it be possible to use both codes on there, the Argos over £20 one and the Ebay over £50 one?
The current 20% off Nerf, Power Rangers is also on Ebay purchases, so I was wondering if the 20% will be taken automatically for an Argos £20 min spend, Ebays code would then be entered at check out if total basket comes to £50

Next years Christmas will be cheap enough when everything is made of cardboard for working class parents, the rich will buy metal & wooden toys.
