You'd have a job carrying 15 litres in your hands otherwise.

I used to think the same until I started doing some work in a different area from home. The water there is so heavily chlorinated I couldn't drink it. It smells like a swimming baths!

I still wouldn't buy titchy bottles though, although I had to resign myself to buying 5 litre recyclable containers of water.
They do a version of this bottle that's made from completely recycled materials - I hope they are made permanent soon!
wilko filter jug less than a tenner, comes with a cartidge, produced 80 liters of filtered water, refillable cartidges 2 for a fiver
carry in a steel flask

Whoever marketed bottle water for it to become the common trend, did a cracking job (unfortunately ). Pity there's no one yet who can reverse it.
Deal itself is “meh”

Why don't they put this in wooden bottles, cutting down trees seems to be the solution to every other plastic problem

I've not seen many potable water sources on Trains, Tubes or Buses in the last few years. During Summer TfL advise carrying a bottle. - Just a thought.

Try the refill app, usually somewhere close to a station giving free water.
