Its here

Great deal not sure about using 3 though

Was 10 years with 3, up to 5 different contracts running for the family during this time. The past year has been absolute hell with them, nothing to do with coverage, signal etc., just their appalling customer service. Problems cancelling accounts, phone repairs, the list is long and bloody boring. But eventually got so fed up I bought out the last 2 contracts and will never use them again. Take a look at their FB pages and do some research before signing up to them.

Rant over, the deal is good except for the service provider.

Is there anything out there which is similar with another service provider?

Three were good once. I joined them when they first brought out those big wallet video calling phones way back. Every year they would give me a great upgrade deal and so I stated over 10 years with them. But last year I found their service to be poor, signal problems and overall they didn't care about the customer. I joined Vodafone and will not tie myself down to a contract with them ever, no matter how good the deal appears to be. This one looks like a very good deal but I won't fall for it!!!

1000 mins for an extre £2 a month and phone £54.99

Yes the deal is probably the best, but if they were the only provider left, I would never have another contract with them. Even if they offered everything free I would say NO NO NO.

Can I ask which operator you went for after you have ditched 3? My 3 contract going to end soon and like what you have said, the coverage for me is alright (compare to T-M) but their customer service is bad to say the least

I recently took out a similar deal with 3 (300 mins for £18/month though). I was worried about going with 3 but so far it's been fine. I've been to Manchester, Liverpool, London, and Kent and always had good enough signal except by the coast. I even got 12mb download once. Only had to call CS once a day they answered the phone quickly and sorted my problem.

Still wary due to all the bad feedback but so far so good for me

People rage about 3, but they're the only company who have true unlimited data. I've been with them a year and a half and I've never had any problems with anything. A few horror stories put people off. but I'd recommend 3 to anyone.

I have my 2 three PAC codes can you port back to 3 on 2 of these contracts sell the s3 could be a cheap 2 year contract

youd need to transfer out(to someone like giff-gaff for example) and back in again.

Im a lorry driver and im on 3 network unlimited and its great and i get about, use my galaxy note to watch sky go or tv catch up, my work phone is vodaphone and its pants.

Well we tried an iphone on o2, but the signal was rubbish where we are so it went back!
I have then ordered an s3 on 3, similar deal, but 22 a month for 1000 mins instead of 500, and signal is perfect!

and customer service with 3 has never been an issue with past phones!

Cost: £129.99

Have been with 3 for the past 4 contracts and never had a problem. Mind you, i have only dealt with them via their shops and not by phone!

Hi OP.... The Handset cost has gone up to 129 instead of 59????

I had a mobile dongle with 3 and it worked great, no problems, never had to call them.

Then I got broadband put in and no longer needed the dongle, that's when the problems started. They wouldn't let me cancel in store even though that's where I signed up. Staff were pretty rude about it too. Took five attempts to get through to their cancellation line and only after waiting half an hour (and that's not an exaggeration) on an 0845 number. When I got through the woman would not take "I don't need it, I have broadband now" as an acceptable answer for me cancelling and spent 15 minutes asking me inane questions about how often I take my computer out the house. Again, "I don't, its a desktop" apparently wasn't an acceptable answer. By the end of the call she had gone beyond rude and was offensively patronising. She actually inisted I expand upon my answers, like a pushy teacher.

I would never, ever use them again after that.

Would rather use 3, Giffgaff from my experience is 20x bigger disaster than 3!

What are people talking to their mobile service providers about?

I got an S3 on 3 recently and have no reason to complain so far. Mind you, I've been with all of the major providers over the years and I wouldn't be able to separate one from another given that I've never had any reason to call them....

I took a £15 contract with Tesco, complete with Nokia lumia 800 and it is brilliant for my purposes

I sincerely hope you never have to call customer services with anything other than a simple problem. Trust me, after 5 contracts running concurrently over 10 years I KNOW how they have deteriorated. The Indian call centre seems to have its own agenda, and will treat you like sh1t. If I treated my customers like they treat theirs there would be no business.

Deal needs to be expired or phone cost changed to £129.99.

I had very few reasons to contact them over the 10 years, upgrades etc., but the past year they have taken on an entity of their own, as though they have taken over Three UK and what they say goes. If you do ever have a reason to call them, record and date/time stamp the call, I know people that have resorted to this because they say one thing to you and write something else in your notes.

Yes, the price has gone up to £129 Needs expiring

i was on 3 and now on vodafone. actually preferred 3. there 3g signal is much better. didn't really ever have any problems with them. their customer services is a bit annoying, but they always did what i wanted them too eventually.

also meant to say, this seems like a brilliant offer. might be slightly cheaper around but not with such a good tarriff.

Same happened to me. Took like two hours of please just cancel my account I don't need it as I've got broadband now, but again they tried to sell me everything.

I'm with GiffGaff and I've hadn't had any trouble as yet, even though I would assume they would be the worst in the reliability game as being so cheap. I guess all networks can play up and cause you grief so the moral of the story is go for one that suits you best or cheapest in my case and hope for the best.

Quite agree, their customer service is absolutely awful,,stay clear unless you don't mind a lot of "pulling out hair" with frustration.!
