i really dont think this is nationwide, hubby is a fresh food manager and hasnt brought any home or told me about thse. Is there by any chance a new asda /morrisons or something nearby or opening soon. Ive never seen tesco give booklets toEVERY customer for more than £50 or there abouts

Moved from vouchers to deals, this is not a voucher in and of itself. Thanks

I'm not aware of any new stores opening nearby. Naturally thought they were giving these out possibly because of a downturn in sales as a lot of people are moving to cheap frills supermarkets.
Shame it doesn't seem nationwide. Still benefit people in this area.

sorry they scan your clubcard when you go to get it.

Any chance you can scan the cover of the book and post the link?

How exactly do I get this book of vouchers?

If they need to scan my clubcard, do I need to purchase anything at the same time, or will there be one almight queue at the customer service desk as people queue up for this book of vouchers?

Where did you see it advertised? Just so I can explain if they look at me blank faced when I request one.

This is also taking place at our local (Extra) store. They had a desk out near the first aisle where you could go up, hand over your clubcard to be scanned and receive a booklet with vouchers in. You could also sign up for a clubcard at the same time. No purchase neccesary.

I used a £4 off any game over £18 voucher to buy Guitar Hero 3 on the xbox 360 for just over 40 pounds.

I picked one of these up toady when I was in my local Tesco. (wrexham).

No purchase required. It's Tesco's way of beating the credit crunch by offering these vouchers. However a lot of the vouchers are for Tesco own brands. Still the petrol one alone makes it worthwhile.

At our store, they have a desk at the entrance. Sometimes they have a short queue, but nothing too much. Just show them your clubcard. They scan it and pass over a voucher book.

The vouchers are grouped into weeks upto 10th August. Some can only be used for the week specified, however at the back they have some vouchers that are valid from now until August.

This wasn't advertised. I just saw it when I visited my local Tesco.

Looks like it is nationwide reading some of the earlier posts. I guess some stores are slower than others in rolling them out. Just enquire with your customer desk.

Not planning to go down, but when I do, this is something I'll have to check out.

Thanks

How can you say a book of vouchers doesn't go in the voucher section :whistling:

Its no wonder why members don't have a clue where to post stuff....

Vouchers mean ONLINE discount codes - and if you look in the voucher section you will (surprisingly) see lots of online discount codes. This is therefore a deal because you must show your clubcard and get the vouchers, hence it should really be a freebie.

A freebie would mean a zero spend. Using these vouchers incorporate a spend, hence not a freebie.
These are vouchers and i agree with Gari, should go in the voucher section.

Put it this way, i'm off to do my weekly supermarket shop and i want to check for any vouchers - where would i go? To the voucher board of course.
Placing it here means it will be missed by many.

BTW The voucher board is not just for online vouchers.

why do people have to be so politically correct on here?!

voted hot.

I think this is a fab deal (or voucher, or whatever you want to call it! Personally I don't give a toss what category it goes in), for the petrol alone. Thanks for posting!

Will check out S****horpe & Doncaster Tescos and see if there's anything going there - fingers crossed!

(I love the way these systems treat the word Scun-thorpe - so accurate!)

No sign of a booklet in my Littlehampton store yesterday. Gutted.

Read your post again.

It's the PHYSICAL vouchers that are the freebie........ the fact that you have to spend money to use the vouchers has got nothing to do with it.

Put plainly 'Free tesco vouchers for clubcard holders'

This is a DEAL/FREEBIE for clubcard holders only.

Great deal!!!

I'm 50/50 on whether I want it to be active at my store or not...

In one way yay for me, for I'd get vouchers off some food etc... however as I work in the Tesco Petrol Station AND with it having been reduced by 4p to match the Morrisons down the road...

I'm rather dreading my shift there tonigh!!! ;-) :whistling:

I asked at Dunstable Tesco about this today and they said that it was a promotion that they did a couple of weeks ago. It is now tea and biscuits if you spend £30.

Nothing not even heard off in Folkestone tesco!!
