this needs to be in freebies and only post when you have full details - postage is a factor

If you have to pay for the paper & pay for postage then it's not strictly a freebie. Posting tomorrow might be too late if the papers get taken up fairly quickly.

What the previous posters MEANT to say, as well, was ----- THANKS.

There is ALWAYS p&p to pay with these offers, usually around £3.95 ( I take the Mail on Saturday so we shall see)
There is usually an option as well to buy additional plants to the free ones on offer.

let me guess you need 1.6million tokens - 1 per paper

wow thanks for this:-D

Well said - some people are never satisfied!

1.6 million tokens !!! Don't be silly.
I think you won't need over 100,000 but knowing the Daily Mail, who knows.

They don't give away much. Since "free" rarely means free, we'll see the real costs tomorrow. Not voting for now.

Says on the advert on tv , starts saturday , redeem daily , postage charge applies

Someone buy the papar and let me know the details - too lazy to get out of bed unless its HOT

hi thanks i dont have a garden but i will get them for my dad cheers:thumbsup:

Don't be so damn rude how is 80p free?
Can you drop round my house tomorrow and give me a free mail so i can send off for some and also whlie you're there give me the stamps needed to send off for it

Wonder if these are going to seed's to grow them your self or plants that are grown & you can put them straight in to the garden, guess il have to get the paper in the morning & find out

This offer is a combination of seeds, plants and bulbs.

They ran the same promotion last year, one day it will be a collection of bulbs, the next day seeds etc etc, last year every day had plants you could buy at a "special "price!

It depends on what plants are going to be given away (obviously you have to pay postage) and how much the postage will be.
may help someone,I will see what plants etc are given before i decide to get any.

:-D
Exactly Think I'd rather spend the £200 on the plants....can't be doin with the dribble they call journalism...Beano is so much more informative, and they have a free sherbet this week (actually the sherbet part may be untrue sorry kids)

I never thought I’d see the day when the Daily Mail gives away £200 worth of skunk to every reader. Is this a pre-election ruse to get stoners to vote Tory?
Dude, where's my voting slip?
What next, free roach material and skins at polling booths?

I wouldn't get out of bed of a morning either if my newspaper kept telling me that terrorist paedophile asylum seekers were coming to give me cancer. :w00t:

Will wait and see what this involves - link says a combination of plants, seeds and bulbs covering flowers and veg so on the surface it does seem to be a good deal. However P&P enters into this as does the thought of having to buy the Mail.
Personally I have already gone for the plants from the J. Parkers deal ]http//ww…onl, but I will see if there is anything in this one that makes it worth my while.

Just to save anyone the embarrassment of having to go into a shop and ask for this poisonous, downmarket, little tabloid rag, there's an MSE post with today's details:

50 Dutch Iris Bulbs or 70 Summer Bulbs for £3.99 each or A4 SAE and £2.14 stamps

So the "£200 worth of plants, free for every reader!" claim from the Mail is, like their stories, a gross exaggeration.

Firstly, you've got to buy the horrible thing every day to get these offers.
Secondly, it isn't free at all - there's postage to pay.

Save your money, save your time, and keep your house uncontaminated with this nasty little rag.

It'll probably be a few quids worth per day, send each token seperately and pay a few quid p&p each time.

Free with £1 p&p?

why on earth is this so hot? COLD!

Right on. I'm just off for a sunny stroll down to the paper shop to get my copies of the Guardian and the Independent to read some real news.

yes it looks like another misleading Daily Mail ad.

The £200 is totally OTT..£3.99 p&p and then the next day...£3.99 p&p and another paper to buy...:x

Agreed, this offer sucks, coupled with the fact I would have to be seen purchasing the Mail, I had to vote cold.

I can't believe that the Mail are saying this is £200 worth of plants! Since when are 70 bulbs worth £200??!! Plus the web site refers to plans, seeds and bulbs, covering flowers, fruit and veg - only saw 2 'free' offers today and both were for bulbs. Complete rip off.

How do you determine what constitutes a "£200 value"? This "deal" seems to be as accurate as a typical Daily Fail headline.

Daily Mail Spam?

As rubbishy and misleading as the rag itself. Quite encouraging, actually, to see how many people on this forum have the good sense to see the Mail for what it really is. ;-)

Totally misleading advert that did not tell you about the true postage costs in the original advert (ie 1 cost per item). :x

This makes it a very expensive way to buy plans like this.

This is so COLD it is unreal!

Indeed. To everybody who voted this deal hot, I have a bridge in London that I'd like to sell you.

Probably all Mail readers - you've got to be pretty thick and gullible to swallow all their c**p!
