Shame Warner UK didn't fix the fade issue

It really is a non-issue

They did fix it.....there was a disc recall. All current editions have the fade out.

You probably need to get off your high horse anyway, do you know how much time and money Warner have spent restoring this film!? THAT is perseveration, the fade out was an error that they put their hand up about.

I saw it at cinema in 4k.it was mind-blowing, as is the 4K UHD

cold not 8K
I was about to buy this and my husband Dave forbid it.
That's what happens when you marry an android.
Is this version HDR? I know that the standard Amaray (plastic case) release is HDR but that's £5 more. I don't want to buy non-HDR 4k if I can avoid it.

Edit: It appears that this is HDR, it has its own separate listing on Blu-ray.com:
blu-ray.com/movies/2001-A-Space-Odyssey-4K-Blu-ray/213929/

Edit 2: There's £1.99 shipping on top.

Not in the UK, Warner UK do not recognise the issue.
I gave heat stop being defensive.
It's a fact the UK disc has the fault
