Kenco Freeze dried - really rich, really smooth and decaf £2.00 for the 200g jar instore at asda, dunno if it is nationwide, I spotted it in asda Newmains Lanarkshire. Usual price is £4.88 so well less than half price. It's the cheapest I've ever seen it, had to double check the shelf label, twice! Label stated £1.00 per 100g. The shelf below had the 100g jars 'rolled back' to £2.65!!

Sorry, I should have said, i've lost the receipt so hopefully someone else can confirm? I'm going to buy more tomorrow, i'll post a recept then if not confirmed before.

showing as £4.88 online so maybe it is just in your local store.

Yeah, may well be. It didn't have a yellow shelf label, just a regular white label - no attention drawn to it whatsoever as a deal so maybe a mistake? Although it was the same for the three different types (rich, smooth and decaf). I so wish i'd kept the receipt now! Worth a wee shifty at the coffee aisle in your local store anyway, just in case?

For anyone interested Tesco are doing the new eco-friendly refill packs of Kenco freeze dried, really rich and really smooth, for £1.79 per 150g bags

not at this price in cardiff asda ...bum! I like this coffee.

Just got back from Asda myself, picked some of the smooth one up (red) and this or the blue weren't £2.00 as mentioned here. ~£4.50 if I remember correctly?

Asda don't usually do store specific deals (contrary to popular belief) but some reductions are store specific but usually only on end of life items

Beg to differ on that one, unless our local just gets the pricing wrong, there have been numerous prices posted on here which have not reflected our local and when ask in store about it, they just utter the immortal words 'probably store specific'

I used to work there, but it's probable that the store hasn't yet updated the shelf to reflect the price change (only when this is done the price is reflected at the till). In essence, it all depends on how efficient the store is at updating pricing. I personally changed them first thing in the morning usually.

£3.78 today! It's supposed to be £4.65 I think, looks like some sort of random price thing going on!

It's £4.88 for the norm and £5.12 for the decaf in our local

No price reduction at our local, well not on the shelf, I bought the DE decaf couple weeks back which was showing £2.98 for 100g and it scanned at £2

I can't understand why it's been voted hot if nobody else has been able to get it at the same price as you £2 for 200g would be great - £4 at Asda Bedminster Bristol 17/1/10 ;-)

cant get it our local one boo hoo love this coffee

£3 at my local Asda today (Hyde)
