How come this is 200GB and not 256GB? Haven't they all been double the previous up to now?

believe it's made up of a 128+64 combo inside - working on decimal based definition of a gig that's 200 as a round number.

there is a 256gig version on Amazon but at an exorbitant price of £130.
200gig has been there for some time and 256gig has just come in the market

They were, but then they were not.
You need to order this Samsung 256 GB EVO Plus MicroSDXC

Good card, got it in May. But unless you really need it, I'd wait for it to get cheaper.

I think it's due to space as at the time 256GB wasn't possible so Sandisk put out a 200GB which was manageable and at a decent premium for them. Smart move on their part as they noticed a gap in the market.
Been at £50 on Amazon in the past.
