2010 Oscar Winning Short "Logorama " , FREE To watch

One of the big surprise winners at the Oscars this year was the animated short film Logorama. However, it won for good reason, because it's a dark and awesome short film. The entire short (all 16 minutes) has made its way onto Vimeo and can be seen below. This isn't a leak or a bootleg or anything like that, this is the fully watchable version of the short.

Here's the concept (and also why it's so damn brilliant): the entire world and everything we see in it is made out of corporate logos and brands. The story follows two Goodyear tire guys (as cops) who chase a terrorist Ronald McDonald. You'll be very glad this won the Oscar after you see this.

enjoy

Very well thought out!
Thanks for the post OP.

It's a wonder MacDonalds didn't sue, they normally do.

McDonald's threatened the owner of a UK sandwich bar called "McMunchies" … McDonald's threatened the owner of a UK sandwich bar called "McMunchies" with legal action for breach of trademark. A retired Scottish school-teacher called Ronald McDonald, and the chief of the McDonald clan in Scotland were both outraged at this further attempt by McDonald's to claim global dominion over the prefix "Mc" and the name "McDonald" which has been an Irish and Scottish family name for centuries.

Loved it.

Watched both La Maison En Petits Cubes and the lady and the reaper but thought this was far superior. Thanks a lot.

very good

Very clever, no wonder it won!
