Fantastic saving on this Whyte 901 it is a 2011 and the 2013 version will be available very shortly I ordered this bike but wanted to ensure it came before posting!
Please don't cold or comment with mountain bikes can be had cheaper... Yes but not to this quality or spec, Very highly rated bike loads of reviews available on the 901 and 905.

good price for this bike so voted hot but personally, although not 120mm fork, I would save myself £300 and get the Decathlon rockrider 8.1...

I think about £800's the right price for a bike with a recon and X7, a good frame though.

If you search hard around this price though you could get something with a Reba fork and XT components
