I've just bought one of these for £7800 (including £500 deposit contribution from Kia) and was going to post the deal when I finally signed the paperwork and drove it away. It took a fair bit of bouncing around from dealer to dealer to get that price. I was looking for accessories and saw this on eBay from a Kia dealer in Preston.

Free road Tax, low insurance, great MPG, and a great feature set for a small car. Also scores high for a small car in the safety tests.

The £500 deposit is included in the price. You then get 2 years 0% and a final payment after 2 years to equal £7895 total paid. I'm Paying £140 per month for 2 years then final payment of just over 4k. Please note the 0% finance is only available on certain models, the 'Picanto 2' being one of them.

I was going to borrow the money from a bank at 3.3% but when I saw this, I realised I may as well just use their 0% offer for 2 years first.

If you aren't in the market for a cheap to run new car then jog on this car isn't for you. I do almost zero motorway driving and no more than an hour at a time so this is ideal.

You may also get a similar price at drivethedeal.com

Point of note, if you order, try to get them to throw in a spare wheel too, these don't come as standard but with a tyre inflater!

Is the GMFV equal to the settlement? Or do you run this risk of negative equity.

This, im not sure on, as long as you intend on buying it at the end then its immaterial. Just say you do high mileage (I think highest is 30000pa) to put your monthly payments up meaning you pay more at zero%.
That is a great spec for under 8k!
Just ordered the '1' 5 door version for £6590. List price was £8095, minus £1000 from Kia and £500 from the dealer. I've got to keep their 4.9% PCP for 3 months before I settle the outstanding balance. I'll probably pay £50 ish in interest.
What dealer as link doesn't work? Looking at replacing our C1. Was heading towards the Aygo but this is worth a look. Do you know when it ends as ideally don't want it until September.
Where are the 5 doors in the picture?
How many mpg do the manufacturers say the car can do?

Looking on fuelly these cars only seem to do about 42mpg (although one person is getting 50mpg).

I would expect a small car like this to do more.

From this dealer?
Yes and no. I rang Perrys and confirmed this deal, but as it's 120 mile drive from my house to them I rang Kia Derby and they matched it. Picked the car up today.
Picked mine up yesterday too. Vey happy with the deal. total payable £7835. 2 years interest free.
Superb price for the spec. Aircon! Should be standard on every car. Apart from an atom.
Though I would never buy a new car, the KIA Picanto is easily the best small car on sale today. And that price is awesome, should last forever if you look after it.

Disc brakes all round, fantastic "Hyundai Kappa" chain cam engines (cost $421 million to design!) that use some very advanced technology in their construction (see here if your interested .

And in my opinion the looks are far superior to the Hyundai i10, VW UP!, KA, Twingo, Yaris, Adam and the fiat 500 is simply far too common. I wish they would make a HOT hatch version though.

But please guys, look after them and make sure they get their oil changed regularly so people like me can buy a good used one in 10 years

They sound like very honest and realistic figures for such a car, all the claims of 65+mpg are usually lies, Though I would expect 50+mpg possible if you were very good at eco driving on the motorway.
Opinions please a few years of ownership. Is this still a good car? Real MPG Road Tax. Insurance group? Thank you x
After a few years of ownership I mean x
