Not sure if this helps you, but if you know a member then they can create membership for you - I'm not eligible to be a member either but a friend of mine added me to his account. You get your own card too so you don't need to be accompanied by them.
Going to wait for the 49uh850v to come down to around this price, as apparently the passive 3D is phenomenal.
it seems that its still and 8 bit panel which is not good.
Looks a great set, would wait for reviews though mind you.
