I love these comments " good for a kids TV or spare room" Jesus when I was a kid I had a 14" CRT thing. I think 43" is still bigger then our lounge TV. Just because it's not 4k? For £200 this is perfectly fine for a main TV too...

Where I lived, having more than one TV in the house was uncommon.

Decent enough telly for spare room. Good price and heat added
How many did they have in stock at Cannock?

Was only one left on the shelf, could be more as there’s only room for two at a time I think.

Neither myself or my OH have a TV as big as this in any room in our houses, and 1080p is still fine as we don't pay for 4k content.

May nip down and check our asda as my sister needs a new set.

4k is pointless anyway on a tv this size, unless you sit 2' away!

When I was a child in the 50s, having even one TV was uncommon and a home telephone (as they were called then) was unheard of in a working class area.
This is something like the first TV I remember, 14" with the optional 3 channel tuner upgrade below the TV. This was for the new ITV network which started in 1955. The third channel was BBC2 but not until 1964

That cooker door looks odd. Is the oven full of smoke?
Amazing price, good find
Perhaps only one in the whole asda world but great if you got it
