Very good price indeed my biting point... if there was a soundbar
With the 2020 models coming out. I think I would wait until this hits around £1k

That's true given Samsung wont be making any however times are hard right now for lots of people so dont think there will be a big queue of people buying £1k+TVs.
Have got the 55" version.
Both have the same fault in that when you select Amazon Prime it fails to start first time always needs a second selection. Otherwise great TV but I use a Samsung 9 speaker soundbar and it sounds great.

Same thing happens with the Q90R too

Yup and the RU8000, it's super annoying
Bought one of these a few weeks ago. Good price but the employee portal support (Samsung shop) is HORRENDOUS! Mine had a bit of dirt behind the screen and it took weeks to sort a replacement - the (offshore based) support were slow, uninterested and obstructive.

Great TV but next time I think I'd pay more and buy from a retailer who can hold a proper conversation and at least pretends to care!

I’m waiting on the 75” version.
Do agree, my current Samsung and all the on it does my head in, but what’s the alternative?
Still got a faulty 65” LG OLED, 11 months old, LG don’t give a naff, so wouldn’t touch them either.
Think they are all as bad as each other.

Got a house full of Samsung products, never had an issue until the other week when speaking to call centre after numerous attempts to sort the issue and repeated requests to speak to someone else I ended up frustrated and promising myself I'd never buy Samsung again.
This has been the price for well over 2 months now on the portal. Was a better deal when they gave you £400
Cash back when also buying a qualifying second Tv or soundbar. Still a good price though.

Unlucky. The wifi on mine is flawless - never had a drop out at all. Which is more than can be said for the shoddy ethernet connection. Would get the popup that the network is disconnected once every few hours even though it wasn't and then you have to dismiss the message everytime. Switched it to wifi only two months ago and been rock solid since

Hi,
Would you care to comment on the ad-ware, bloatware on this very expensive TV. I'm currently, thinking of getting one, but this is pretty despicable, if you are loading the TV with ad/bloatware - that users are unable to disable!

Where are you guys seeing this, most of the stuff can just be removed from the pop up bar unless I'm missing something. I have the q7fn so maybe this is different
Hmmm... seen a few comments here. I've owned the TV from January and have to say its fantastic. The bloatware is barely a couple of pictures that come up with the ad store... you don't even notice it.

Wifi on mine is absolutely brilliant.. never had a problem and everything loads really fast on youtube.. netflix etc.

I managed to get the 75" for around £1700 with 5 year guarantee by taking advantage of the soundbar cashback deal.

made a quick vid...

I have the Smart IPTV app on mine.. the 2019 Q85R. It can still be installed and works perfectly 🏻
it has been removed from the samsung app stall, if i were you i would turn the auto update of the tv, there is plenty of info on the net about it, it did mine and when i tried to re-install no trace in apps store
Does anyone know how much the 55” Q90R is through the EPP?
