The (2019) MacBook Pro 15” with Apple’s cutting edge Touch Bar technology and Retina display has been created with a 9th generation Intel Core i9 processor and 16GB RAM. It’s been designed and built to aid the ideas you have and for the work you do every day.

Simple touch The Touch Bar replaces the function keys that have long occupied the top of the keyboard. It changes automatically based on what you’re doing to show you relevant tools you already know how to use, such as system controls like volume and brightness, interactive ways to adjust or browse through content, intelligent typing features like emoji and predictive text and more.

What is RAM?
RAM (Random Access Memory) is different to the permanent storage provided by hard disk drives (HDD), solid state drives (SSD) or memory cards in your equipment. RAM is used by your device to temporarily store data to carry out everyday operations. The more RAM your machine has, the faster you can expect it to open and run programs.

This device has 16GB RAM.

Solid State Drive The 512GB Solid State Drive (SSD) gives you capacity to store your documents and media, while ensuring speedy and dependable access to your files and programs. SSDs are much faster than regular hard drives and don't use moving parts to work, making them more reliable and quieter.

Retina display Featuring 500 nits brightness, the MacBook Pro 15” delivers deep blacks and bright whites. It supports wide colour for even more vibrant greens and reds than with sRGB – this makes for more true-to-life pictures with realistically vivid details.

Typing and clicking Interacting with MacBook Pro is a smooth experience all round. The updated keyboard is a pleasure to use, while the spacious Force Touch Trackpad with Multi-Touch gestures support gives your fingers plenty of room to gesture and click.

Additional information: manufacturers often update their Operating System (OS) software over the course of a device’s lifespan – this means that your product might ship with a more advanced OS than specified.

With JohnLewis 2 year additional warranty.

For similar price you can get 2019 16" MacBook pro, which has much better keyboard, better CPU cooling and very slightly bigger screen.
They should have discounted 15 inchers to 50% off to make any sense to buy them.

Talking of keyboards, pretty funny speech by Taika Waititi when he was asked at the Oscars a question that could help writers and he went on a rant about Apple keyboards being so bad his gone back to PC
