Ummm not great then....?! Hope it can be replaced under warranty.
Can I watch movies on apple tv from my IPhone XS Max
Would rather pay £50 more for the 5 year warranty and superior customer service from richer sounds.

AO's customer service is non-existant

This happened with some of the Samsung nu8000 55 inch models, it's the plastic heating up and cooling, warranty replacement I believe and my friend swapped his nu8000 with richer sounds for the issue.

My mates Sony telly is an absolute lag fest on the menus - wouldn’t touch with a barge pole.

Couldn't agree more. I've just replaced my Sony for exactly that reason. I had to press buttons 2 or 3 times before the TV would respond. Simple things like changing channels was a nightmare.
Samsungs are so slick in comparison. They also seem to get all of the latest apps first... Eg BT Sport, Now tv and now Apple.

My Sony 55" TV just died less than 2 years since purchase (wasn't high-end, but still a £700 TV). I think the days are long gone where you can expect great quality control and aftercare for mid-range TVs from any of the manufacturers, hence the 1 year guarantees.

Agree, whether its a Samsung, Sony, Toshiba, anything really, always going to be faults nowadays, just the way the industry is. Everyone has their preference, not point having arguments about it. I'm sure returns and faults are similar across the market, form what I've experience anyway
