Anyone have a idea when these will come to the UK / if they will ?
When I want it but it would be no use for me.
You can flash the old model btw, the motor is rated at 1000w but detuned to 250w. Slightly better battery and display compared to the old model but same speed. Battery is a moot point if you charge at work and home. Not voting but would rather get this from Amazon European store or UK sourced, just for the warranty.

The M365 actually has a 1kw motor already, it's just the BMS isn't rated to push that power continuously.
I'd go on a guess and say the motor is also software limited

I think its more to do with the battery and heat of battery/motor, it would drain faster if it was was using 1k power

I am using these guys firmware. I used the full speed firmware, but it would wheelsping at start. Moved to the heavy version, which seems a good compromise between power and speed. Flipping between eco and full speed via the button on the handbar is cool..

Yeah, I agree. It's not exactly great, and the cable gauge to the motor isn't particularly thick plus you have the fuse issue.

I put the 750 watt firmware on mine (ages ago), it helped a bit. What I'd like is to see a scooter in this sort of formfactor/weight which has way more torque, and maybe 20mph top speed - it's quite frustrating to have the scooter slow down or need assistance up gradients.

Appreciate they are in entirely different categories and price brackets, yet if it had the power of some of the off the shelf electric skateboards it would be great. Something like an evolve board weighs about the same but is vastly more powerful

Add rear wheel drive to that . The pro is just a bigger battery at the end of the day.
In the UK, the electric kick scooter is classified as a PLEV, or Personal Light Electric Vehicle, and that makes them illegal on British roads or pavements. This means that commuters who embrace this new method of urban travel remain at risk of possible arrest, and a fine of up to £75.

Whilst you're not wrong, this comes up in pretty much any power assisted deal - I've never had problems with the police, and that includes blatantly riding around them etc. If you don't ride like a richard, they apparently don't care.

The law needs to change though, if one of them is having a bad day you could be in for a world of pain - including points on your actual license (driving without insurance, nor VOSA registered etc)

Yeah RWD would be so much better, it sucks when the front spins out because you've just manually pushed

Has anyone got pulled up. I rode a couple of times in the city when the weather was better.

I have seen a few peeps in the morning, one was riding down past Cannon Street tube station in the middle of the road this morning and have seen loads near Bank junction. City of London police aren't bothered.

I'm guessing they have more important things to deal with.
