Just seen this on their website. Whilst I appreciate O2 don’t match 3 with regards to data, they do offer other great benefits like O2 Rewards, free O2 Wi-Fi.

Deal also comes with unlimited texts and minutes.

12 month contract

O2 wifi is free to anyone! I use it and never been a customer of o2

Great deal, thank you OP

Lots of people voting this cold already, yet no comments as to why. Apart from 3, are there any other offers out there that are better?

So tempting to cancel land line and broadband to get this instead...

Can get the same on BT mobile for £102 for 12 months (12 x £16 - £90 Amazon gift card). Also comes with unlimited BT WiFi

Thank you. That does explain it, and even if you aren’t a BT landline account holder you still get the £90 voucher. That does make sense.

Still doesn’t make this a cold deal if you want to take advantage of a free Cafe Nero hot drink every week that you do with O2 rewards which equates to c.£100 if you take a this deal...

All networks have some 'benefits'. To be honest 20gb contracts are frequently found for £16-20. That is likely why most people are voting cold.

Unfortunately O2 are very expensive and you can essentially get better deals on other networks.

O2 Priority you can get with a simple PAYG SIM so you can reep the reward without a contract

It's a shame, O2 was 'the' big name many years ago

They was a good network with good availability throughout the UK, However, they lost the plot with their pricing

I have a contract with o2 through mobilephonesdirect or similar company coming to an end, can I phone o2 to get a better deal or do I have to contact mobilephonesdirect?

Doesn't matter who you bought the contract through, it is with O2 so you would contact them direct.

Contact 02 last time I did that and they offered me a free Bluetooth headset free. You could try to get voucher too or money off it all depends how good are you in haggling. Good luck .

I’m on o2 but their so called deals really do suck.

£50 quidco on this as well. Is it really that bad a deal?

Even though this is my post, I went with the Virgin’s 40GB for £10 offer elsewhere here
