seems quite highly reviewed

It is semi-synthetic.

"Recommended for all applications where SAE 5W-30 engine oil is specified, with the fuel economy spec. ACEA A1/B1 or the API spec. SL/CF.
Meets the Ford M2C913-A+B+C specification.
For passenger cars and vans with turbo diesel, petrol and LPG engines."

Be quick as this is only a flash sale i recieved to my email, other brands are available and semi, fully synthetic. The one i have linked to just happens to be the one i purchased.

It's not appropriate for my cars (realistically wouldn't cause any damage though), but it's a good price nonetheless.

I'd snap it up if I needed it.

valvoline isn't a cheap brand.

Ideal for Transits/ldv's as the hold nearly 7ltrs...

This is true, perhaps not so well known over here but a premier brand in the US. This is a really good deal and of course you don't have to use it all at once, it will be good for a few services on most passenger cars.

Good price and voted hot, however availability may be the issue as I tried to order for collection when I received the email and not available in my nearest 3 branches.

Joke won't deliver and no availability in all stores I checked

Quite a few modern cars seem to have cavernous oil capacities. My last car needed 5.5 litres, which was frustrating since 4 or 5 litres is the 'standard' purchase amount. My current car is about 6.5 litres, so not much lower than your Transit!

Certainly a good deal for a family with a couple of cars being DIY maintained.

Good price. Would work in both my Transit van and Jag X-Type. Shame I already have a stock of 20L of Comma oil from a previous deal. They still have stock in Oldbury...

Semi synthetic though unlike the castrol. Not sure if that makes a difference.

clearly know zilch about oil or valvoline for that matter.

Top stuff OP this will save a few pennies on the van servicing

Bargain price

Great price for Semi Syn, but I use Full Syn for my car

All olis are tested to the same standard/spec if it meets them then its fine whatever the brands.
just don't mix oil and don't use car oil in motorcycles/

All oil comes from the same source. As long as the gravity is right shouldnt be an issue.

Great if you own a Mazda RX8

Valvoline is premium oil used in motor sport. The Cynics hear should check their facts; try typing google.com before posting misinformation here. Excellent find OP.

realistically if it's not the correct spec then it will damage the crankshaft as well as other parts depending on the vehicle.

always buy the correct spec - brand/make doesn't matter so long as it's from a legit source like eurocarparts.

spec matters more than anything including the temp ratings

decent oil, looks to be correct spec for mine, local has stock so put aside, with filters, know what I'll be doing next weekend! Might have get another as 20l will go quickly (have three to do), but all done for under £45 bargain.. thanks OP
