If you've got the garden for it I think this is a cracking deal, a 21ft x 12 ft x 4 ft high frame pool for £198

I got home delivery for £10. If you are an OAP or have one you can borrow you could probably get another 10% off if you buy instore on Wednesdays.

i have looked for a while and this was £350. have seen others from £400 up to £1000 + prob not same brand but nonetheless I think its great if not for late summer this year then next at less than £200.

Order online , think they move stock between stores for you.

First post by the way so go easy on me if I've got something wrong.

It would take a big ladder to get into it.

good deal voted hot

Must be one of those new self levitating pools:thumbsup:

Just so you know it is a Wednesday that over 60's get 10% off not a Thursday!! Just so no one goes down on a Thursday to be told they have missed the discount by a day!!
Cheers

Sometimes i wish i didn't live in scotland...

Deal is hot, shame about the weather....

no good if ur on a water meter

Will someone from here actually buy it?

I don't think that it would even fit in my house! Imagine the amount of money it would cost to fill that thing up.........

I saw this a few weeks ago and was tempted to buy, but i thought i better stick with my 18ft as it will be more elecy heating it

i wish i could get 1 of these, voted hot tho

If you are an OAP or have one

lol yes i have an oap just for b&q, it cost me £2 just like my varsity card! "come on ethel, i need my discount"

Don't forget to buy yourself a pair of skates, another couple of months and you'll have your very own 21ft skating rink! :santa:

how the hell do you empty them, with a bucket ?????????

Or a stanley knife !! lol

nice find....

now i am thinking if i should upgrade my 18ft pool ???

ooh i'd just love this, but the house we could be moving to is on a water meter

can anyone work out how much this holds and therefore how much it would cost [dont know the rates] to fill if your on a meter ?

might have to look at other properties!

approx 21,000 litres

Banned

theoretically
21ft x 12 ft x 4 ft = 1008 (cubic feet) = 28,543.3814 liters
but you wont fill it till there and it is has rounded corners so i would say about 25KL OR 25 Cubic Meters @95P (www.midkent.co.uk/pdf/Water%20Metering%2007-08.pdf ) it should cost you somewhere near £23.75

There's always the Mersey la

With Good old british summers you could just wait for the rain to fill it up!!! :whistles:

Mine is only a 10ft pool, filled it up this "summer" and then it was hardly used coz the weather was so pants!!

Just had to empty it, and despite all the chlorine etc was green & grotty ........

They take some looking after these things!

Great deal tho, if you live in a mansion!!

Hot deal, cold weather. If I didn't live in a flat and earned an extra £4k a year i'd probably buy it

In my area the water 'in' is one cost - but the sewerage charge is directly based on the water consumed and effectively more than doubles the cost of the water. So nearer £50 for me to fill this up........ (but my neighbour doesn't have a meter and I could pinch his garden hose overnight?).
According to my calculations a lowish pressure garden hose would take 4 days to fill this.........

Someone I work with had a large pool filled by the fire brigade !!

Very true. However, "Thames Water will consider reducing your measured sewerage charge if you can prove that you return less than 90% of the water supplied to you based on one year's consumption." So it depends what you do with the water when you empty it and if you can prove it! :-D How do you empty these things?? :?

£160 for me as i have a b&q 20% off card

agree , same here, i empty and clean it because the weather is so bad and the pool is green even with treatment. kids asked if i would fill it again this weekend as we are rumoured a little sunshine. (not a chance)

I will vote hot though as this is a good deal. welcome to hukd

Just need a wet suit now!!
