Had these on my car, Fiesta. And they weren't that bad, found them better than other budget brands ive used

To be fair, if you have a car that requires 225/40 18 chances are you don't want to be putting budget tyres on it.

I put Neuton nt8000 on my A3 from neo bros on eBay. they are a subsidiary of yokohama in indonesia. big brand perfomance for a fraction of the price.
Also try Camskill for other top brands cheapest I've found, my local fitter reckons they must be making pennies a tyre from the price they sell at.
can recommend uniroyal rainsport 3 for 255 35 19. stick like glue in the wet

save £5 and risk your life... if you can't afford good quality tyres simple choose cars with cheap/standard sizes

Yep as others have said reviews are kak for these tyres plus they are not asymmetric even sh6ter than kak in the wet then, also as above Uniroyal Rain sport 3 seems to be very good these are what am considering replacing my warn Falkens with next, bearing in mind we mainly get rain in this country so the Uniroyal is a no brainer to me. Generally most kak tyres will grip in the dry conditions even one's with no tread as you only have tread on tyres for wet road conditions . Ok the Uniroyal is almost twice the price but will probably last twice as long and will guarantee you will get round the corner far quicker and safer than this cheap rubbish! "These tyres are simply false economy"

Plenty of torque in that Focus though. Makes me laugh that you paid a premium over a standard Zetec for some plastic exterior trim and larger rims yet skimp on the only thing that connects it with the ground.

Although it doesn't matter about the performance of the vehicle as at the very least they've got to stop from the speed limit at some point.

Cheap tyres are one economy I definitely don't want to make.

They will be fine 99% of the time, until something unexpected happens. There is no such thing as 99% alive.

Just a work car is focus plus the came on the car when i brought it, Have a rx8 too with same size wheels they got bridgestones on which tbh arnt that great they were £150 a tyre, wouldnt say the were much better than ones on focus at 3 times the cost.

The U.K. has poor weather.

Use these for summer and have some winter tyres for commutes?

Check the age of the Bridgestones on the RX8, there's quite alot of those cars with very low annual miles so the tyres could possibly be aged. I'm running Bridgestones as my summer tyre at the moment, would say they are better but close to some Kumho KU31s I had several years ago, gonna try Good Year next.

Please please please why 18" tyres on a fiesta???
haha bet it looks good lol

If you can't afford to put decent tyres on your car then you can't afford to drive a car. It isn't about how powerful your car is (although that has an effect), it is about how long it takes the car to stop in both wet and dry conditions under heavy braking. These tyres took an additional 18.9 metres (62') to stop from 70mph in wet conditions, and 4.4m in dry conditions, than the best rated tyres in the 2012 autobild tyre test.

In a motorway situation that is the difference between stopping with a huge gap between you and the car in front and ploughing up their backside and breaking your legs.
