Aldi's Halloumi cheese is currently on offer at £1.65 for 225g.....cheapest I've seen for Halloumi and most of the other supermarkets only give you 200g, so it's a double win. Standard and 'with chilli' varieties.

I love this stuff on the BBQ straight up or on veggie skewers with peppers, red onion, mushroom and baby toms. Yum.

Saw this today. probably the worst thing about giving up dairy, is missing out on this bad boy :-(

Love Haloumi sandwiches, but havn't had any for ages.
Going to remedy the situation this weekend.
Thanks.

Hello me!

Hmmm, can't decide, Halloumi or an old sweaty sock

I dont have an aldi near me, disappointed but great deal

Grilled halloumi and pepper Panini mmmmm

If there's any cow content (which is the norm for most supermarket varieties) then i personally would give it a miss.

look for varieties where it is made with goat mixed with or without ewe/sheep (NO COW!) - The real Greek way!

No! This stuff is awful don't buy it!

This stuff is gold dust in my Aldi. Lucky to find one packet.

Would appreciate it if you didn't tell others

Great price. I love halloumi! Can sometimes get it cheaper per unit when tesco do their 3 for 2 on cheeses which is quite often. But this is definitely a hot price.

aldi halloumi is the best i have ever tasted, i cant buy any other now, dont get chilli, spoils the taste, first time i ever tried it was at a bbq, brother inlaw told us it was made from bull sperm - we all liked it that much we ate it anyway, complimenting the salty taste.....

my god this stuff is delicious. Sending the girlfriend to the Aldi by her work tomorrow!

£2 for 250g in Tesco everyday. So am I missing something?

Yes. A basic grasp of maths for a start.
