Ace, thanks OP. Will get some for the wife's Xmas stocking.

She hates Peanut butter and Marmite. Double whammy!!!!!

I bought some from my local Home Bargains this morning, got it home and tested it; what a waste of money!
I love Peanut Butter and Marmite is OK (but prefer Vegemite), but they should never have combined the 2. You will notice that unless you store it in the fridge then this product is runny, whilst non fridge stored peanut butter is still fairly solid. Also, whilst I like salted peanuts, and I know Marmite is heavily salted, Marmite Peanut Butter is just wrong. It's got a strange taste and texture. Personally I think the person who thought of this and designed it was on drugs at the time!
I've actually just thrown the jar in the bin!
If you like it, fair do's to you, but not for me!

Opposite for me. Lovely stuff and you only have to stir it again every so often. Lovely on crumpets with grated cheese. Yum yum. Whoever thought of it needs some sort of foody Nobel prize or something
🤢
Omg I'm so confused, is marmite or peanut butter or both!
I'm curious to try this. Reviews here are like marmite - love it or hate it!
This is delicious, I just can’t overstate how tasty it is. This is a good price, usually it’s £2.50 so anything lower is good. Heat added.
Following extensive research I present my league table of ways to consume Marmite:

1: Marmite Cashews
2: Marmite
3: Squeezy Marmite
4: Marmite Flatbreads
No: Marmite Cheddar
Oh god I'm really sorry I have to go and be sick: Marmite Peanut Butter
Oh dear lord Jesus Christ have mercy on my taste buds.
I bet this tastes as rank as I think it would...you'd have to pay me to try it !

That would be Sainburys in the 1980s which introduced an own brand of this (Savoury Peanut butter). They stopped doing it and I have been mixing my own even since, though I don't suggest doing it with Meridian as that is far too sticky (really destroyed an American visitor who didn't know about my pre-mix!).
Dry roasted peanuts are flavoured with Marmite. That's basically what this flavour is, stop thinking it's so weird.
This stuff is so good, they must have been smoking something, what's next prawn Nutella?
It's nice but expensive, so why not just mix your own - a 250 gram jar of Marmite is enough to mix with about a dozen jars of your favourite peanut butter. Or just do as I do - slather one side of a sandwich with peanut butter and the other side with Marmite.
