sweet if in my morrisons i could get 15% off through my discount card thanks

Bought one for my gran @ £250. Great tellly for the price, does get a little warm compaired to our Sony.

Amazing how cheap these things are getting. For that price as long as you arent too picky about picture quality you just cant go wrong! Hot!

I've got this tv, suprising the quality is quite good on Blu rays.

Yes, I agree with Finnboy, the quality of these 'non-brand' TV's mean you shouldn't buy one thinking you will get a fantastic picture (or sound especially).

This wasn't one of the 3 tested this week on The Gadget Show (they chose Sainsbury's, Argos and Tesco brands), but they did not get very favourable reviews.

The best was the Tesco brand, but the other two were very poor indeed, which is not a good ratio.

It might be an idea to watch that report on five.tv to see what you should do to at least test it in store before you commit.

The problem is that if you want a TV that copes with high speed graphics you end up paying £450 upwards, for a cheap telly that sound OK (Or put it through an amplifier) and look bareable this looks a great price. Some people can't afford silly prices for a telly.

This 32" Toshiba one would be better for the same price:

bestbuy.co.uk/pro…spx

Better brand, more HDMI ports, USB input etc.

I bought this tv when it was £199 about 4 months ago I disagree with comments saying its cheap so cheap quality, Im more than happy with it for the bedroom.......

Good price, but poor quality.OH works at Morrisons and says there are no end of these brought back.

The vast majority of these 'white box' (i.e. 'own brand') TV's are made by Konka Group (based in Shenzen, China). They have about 80% of the white box market. They sell on price alone and every one that I have seen has relatively poor picture and sound. I would hold back and wait until you see a branded set on offer.

I got this TV four years ago for £320 from woolworths. At first it was great but quickly the quality declined. So for the past few years the red's turn green, and blurays don't look different from standard dvds etc..

According to my manager week / 2 time it's raising to 15% ??

Techwood are actually made by Vestel, a Turkish company. I bought a 37" one a couple of years back from Cash Converters (£289).

It must be getting on for 5 years old. Can't fault it, great picture (as good as my Dad's Sony) and better sound than the Sony too.

Only thing I could fault on mine is only 1 HDMI and no digital tuner, but it is quite old to be fair

This is over £300 at rubery morrisons

I did, just before the year was up and they said they fixed it, but it returned to the weird colours again. We also have the 37inch in the living room. The colours were ok on it, however the sound is messed up; voices are quiet and everything else is really loud and tinny. Saving up for a Samsung

Just thought I'd say to beware. Maybe we just happened to get two bad sets.
