Cold. No stock anywhere

Cold oos

The usual Currys .97p never in stock anywhere aggravation non-deal. Why they still continue to antagonise after all these years is beyond me!

I really wanted one. No stock. Shame on you Currys.

I remember when a 20" CRT monitor would set you back £2000.

Thought it was out of stock too, but somehow managed to order one in London. Hope I won't get a call that it's out of stock.

gutted tried to buy it cold.

You'll never win at that game! Someone will always remember when some even more antiquated piece of computer equipment was more expensive.

If you get this you should open a bottle of champagne in celebration, as you well and truly will have the very last one in stock in the whole of the UK. I checked all 775 stores. Maybe post a photo of the evidence to restore our faith that these Currys deals are real after all?

I don’t think it’s fair everyone who didn’t get one squinnying about it, plenty of people have got the clearance deals before and they are clearance as in, there will not be many left and they will want to get rid of them. By the time people have spotted the deal there’s a good chance much of the stock will have gone before at a slightly higher price or before having even been posted here. I’m sure most of the .97 stock goes in store and not online or for reservation

I got this (Like New) from Amazon Warehouse for £73.11 including the 20% student discount:

ASUS VS248HR 24 inch Gaming Monitor (1 ms, 1920 x 1080, HDMI, DVI-D, VGA, 250 cd/m2) - Black

amazon.co.uk/gp/…c=1

Is it a good deal may I ask as I'm a bit of a technophobe and wouldn't be able to compare one monitor from another. It arrives today.

Great monitor if you can find one, they've made them for over 3 years (mine is now out of its 3 year warantee) and still going strong. Unusual for something to be made for such a long time.

I've had two of these about 3 years, they're great budget IPS monitors and at this price they're a steal

Difference with this one is it's been posted on the Curry's website for days. Was looking for this exact monitor and have been checking around for the last week and saw it at Curry's but when I saw it a week ago it was all oos then and still is now

Typical DSG tactic, get you into a local store where you may buy something else instead

Just as I expected my order have been cancelled and got a call that they don't have it in stock. It always happens with my local halfrauds as well. I think it's the staff taking the advantage of this type of discounts.

Nothing available anywhere. Cold.. Deal means if its in stock. Its my opinion

It was previously posted at £89.97 on their site last few weeks, that's probably when they all sold out. The site price is automatic and will just be to price the ex-demo and 'non pristine' stock that they can't sell online or to reserve but if you found one in store they'd let you have it. There's certainly no benefit in them winding everyone up over it.

Went can't we filter out deals with certain keywords in them?

I was looking for this as well but couldn't find in few stores I checked. I did get lucky though as I found ACER R241Ybmid Full HD 23.8" LED Monitor for £89.97 brand new in clearance. I also managed to pick up an Acer Aspire XC-780 PC for £199.97 (i5-6400 Quad Core 8GB RAM and 1 TB HDD 7200 rpm). Just set it up and I am quite happy especially the monitor screen looks pretty good for the money
