Redefine standards with LG W63D, A full HD 3D monitor created for a new level of gaming experience. Its Full HD resolution comes complete with 120Hz refresh rate, allowing clear 3D picture quality by cross-minimization through 172Hz data processing. W63D series reproduces incredibly realistic 3D effect to stimulate your infinite imagination.

Full HD 3D
W2363D perfectly reproduces various Full HD 3D contents such as games, animation, and films without any loss and also supports vivid 2D picture quality that equals any 2D Full HD product.

Real time 2D to 3D conversion
When 3D contents are played, NVIDIA 3D Vision automatically senses the contents and converts to 3D mode so that 2D and 3D multimedia contents can both be enjoyed conveniently without requiring any complicated setting.

3ms response time
The ultra-fast response time of 3ms reproduces crisp pictures without transient phenomena. You can play speed games and watch action movies that have fast motion and action without ghosting or shaky image.

120HZ refresh rate
W2363 reproduces images at 120 frames per second to provide perfect reproduction of pure 120Hz next-generation fast motion pictures in 2D mode while displaying more vivid 3D pictures in the shutter glasses 3D system.

G-mode
As an exclusive feature of W63D series, G-mode provides an ideal user environment that enhance your game experience.

1.9 Crosstalk
W2363 minimized crosstalk to 1.9 percent by supporting 172Hz image processing and maintaining a stable 120Hz screen as well as by supporting rapid image transition through dual gate feeding.

Add £105 for the 3D Kit, plus you need an nvidia, 3D capable, graphics card.

It's a very good price for a nice screen , even web browsing and day to day use look smoother at 120hz

Thanks bud; If i'm honest i'm not up to date with all this 3D malarkey ...

Isnt the screen backward compatible then?.... So its only good for PC??

It makes no difference, its just marketing BS.

Unless youre a numbers freak with ms difference in response time, the Samsung PA panel posted the other day for a similar amount is a much better monitor, in fact the price of this LG is very close to some nice IPS monitors which would blow this away.

3D in a little monitor, whats the point.

cos you sit closer to it than a telly?

Reasonable price, but as stated, need the Nvidia stuff to go with it.

I beg to differ ref it not making a difference, but I do agree that its just a load of marketing BS; its just another thing to type at the end of the model number to draw people into believing they are getting something special for that extra bit or money when really at the end of the day people should stand by the fact that all monitors should come with this stuff standard which would force the manufactures to be more competitive.

How much more hype can they sell us?

They've milked us on the TV front!
Big Screen Plasma then LCD then integrated terrestrial receiver, then DVI port, then HD Ready Standard, then integrated freeview, then DVI swapped for HDMI, then Full HD (1080P), then freesat, then 100hz, then USB ports, then DLNA and RSS feeds, then 200hz, 600gazillion hz, then Skype, then 3D and now smart TV's.

Next hologram, Tele-Portation and Smeller Vision LOL..:p

How would something like this this fare hooked up to a 3D blu-ray player? ... Would it look decent as it's a relatively small monitor? ... In my head the fact it's a smaller screen means the 3D picture would be even sharper and look nicer, but I may be wrong (in-fact I'm almost certain I am).

Does the fact that it's manufacturered as a monitor make it better/worse than a unit which is made specifically as a TV?

If you were a gamer then this screen could make a difference and the 120hz is not marketing bs. Because most screens today are mainly 60hz, they will only realistically display 60fps on the screen were as if you had a 120hz monitor, you could display it at 120fps which will make games feel a lot smoother and it also eliminates screen tearing. If you don't have a graphics card that will play games at higher than 60fps, don't bother for gaming. A ips screen like the dell u2311h whilst only 60hz has a better picture and is the better option.

60hz is 60 fields per second, and 2 fields makes one frame.

60hz is 30 frames
120hz is 60 frames

The LG Cinema monitors should be out now and do not need any extra to get 3D.

The frame rate is NOT mandated to be equivalent to half the refresh rate. FPS determines how often a separate still image is displayed. Why is this related to the refresh rate? A video clip of 60 fps can be played on a display with 50Hz refresh rate, 100Hz refresh rate, 200 Hz refresh rate.

I agree with you! I have a Dell 24" 60hz monitor, and want to upgrade 120hz. Because I play FPS games online, and the difference in how smooth the game seems is very noticable.

I know that, I'm just correcting the previous misinformation in terms of the 1:1 ratio, and that refresh rate directly correlates with the fps that was previously stated.
Low FPS = Slow framerate
Low Response time = Artifacts/'ghosting'

Paid 179.99 for this only last month from Amazon. Great monitor does need some calibrating though. 120hz made a huge difference to eye strain and headaches for me. Big improvement.

But you get only 540p in 3d that is 1920x540px

Yep, quite normal. 3D using the polarisation method requires 2 separate images of the film. So how can 2 separate images be squeezed into a 1080P movie? It stands to reason that the resolution is halved with each image being 540P and this monitor is NOT unique in producing a net 540P movie in this manner. The majority work on this principle. Some will allow for 1080P for BOTH images but I'll leave you to work out how 2 separate 1080P images can fit onto a single 1080P display.

I know it's normal but many people don't know about it and it would have large impact on games quality, vertical resolution will belower than in 800x600!
And no, I don't know about 3d monitor using polarisation that gives you full resolution without actually doubling it's 2d resolution.

Vertical resolution will be halved but the horizontal resolution will not be reduced. Oh, the answer to my earlier poser regarding how 2 1080P images are squeezed into a 1080P panel for a 3D effect is that the horizontal resolution is halved so the amount of detail that is lost in terms of number of pixels is the same as the amount of detail lost if using 2 x 540P images.

I thought the Iz3d monitor displayed the full res without losing pixels? Whereas the Zalman loses half the vertical res. This monitor doesn't lose the res but you need active glasses and the cost is much higher than Zalmans, not to mention the limits with Nvidia.

It has to lose some detail because 2 images have to be superimposed. 2 into 1 will not go unless the resolution is halved.

What about 3D 120Hz TN panel with 3ms response?
