This appears to be a combination of two cruises, the Pride of Panama and the Atlantic Daydream but actually looks to be a pretty good itinerary with nice and evenly spaced out 'at sea' days. It also incorporates Easter so ideal if you were looking to go away then.

The flights and to and from Birmingham but the website doesn't give details of these so you'll need to make an enquiry but they are open til 11pm.

I've no idea what Thomson are like, but this price includes all tips which seems to average it out at around £50 a night pp which whilst I've seen cheaper, normally tips are extra. Drink prices seem to average around £3.70 for a pint which doesn't seem too bad. I'd also suggest that an outside cabin appears to be pretty good value too at less than £100pp.

Great itinerary, great price but .... Thomson. We've been with most of the major cruise lines, and the only one we would never go with again is Thomson. They are bargain basement, with no sign of the luxury you would expect. Plenty seem to like them though, so it depends what you're after. Around £50pppn is about as cheap as you can get, but we get this price with traditional luxuryish cruise lines.

Totally agree, you get what you pay for! Would not be my choice.

We went with Thomson in December and loved it. It was our 1st cruise though so can't compare to other cruises although other, more experienced cruisers on board said they loved thomsons because they were much more laid back and informal than others. I'm sure this cruise was mentioned when we were on board as one to look out for as it's a repositioning cruise and they are usually good value?

Be careful Thomsons is or you: 23 days is a long time in hell

Thomson have dated ships with dated decor etc. And £50 pp pd for tips is way above the average for even the better cruise lines. Tips included sounds like a good deal but on most cruises you can tip who you want and how much you want. Of course they give you suggested amounts but it is entirely down to you how much you tip.

You've got to be careful tipping individuals. We were told that on p&o, anyone getting a tip has to put put it in the communal tip fund or else it's instant dismissal.

Not sure what your comment that 50 quid per person per day is high for tips is about - i was talking about the total cruise cost on a per day basis. Tips are usually on top (but not with Thomson), and seem to be approaching £10pppd these days some cruise lines. So a 25 day cruise for two could run up £500 in tips.
