24 bottles of Brew Dog's 77 Lager, £12 + delivery! @ Brewdog

Brew Dog currently have a special deal running on 77 Lager from their online shop, 12 bottles for £7.50 instead of (I think) £18. Use the voucher code 'PUNK' at the checkout to receive a further 20% discount, making it £6 for 12 bottles, or 50p a bottle!

The downside comes with the P&P, £7 per case (i.e. £7 for up to 24 bottles, another £7 for the next up to 24 bottles, etc.). Still, 24 bottles for £19 is still a pretty stunning deal!

Decided to take advantage and order my Christmas brews; 1 Tokyo*, 1 Russian, 2 packs of Prototype, 12 bottles of 77 lager, a Zeitgeist and a Teku Glass. That lot would normally cost something like £58. Came to £40. Originally had Tactical Nuclear Penguin in place of the Zeitgeist, but having tried it in one of their bars there is no way I'm drinking a 330ml bottle of the stuff on my own. Will save it for another day...

Looks good. Will order some. Sick off drinking the same boring brands every day. Lager gives me bad headaches and hopefully this stuff wont

It’s good to see craft made beers al la PunK! I agree with 'whydoineedastupidusername' that it is boring that lager brands are always the usual fare (Bud, Fosters, Becks, Carling ad nauseam
). Hope the Brew Dog is good and can achieve for lager what microbrewers are doing for ale. Scorchio for me. Thanks for the posting.
Also thanks to satchef1 for the link.

Cracking price, didn't notice they were so cheap when I made an order yesterday, annoyingly! Surprised the PUNK code works as well, good spot!

On it, class price, got 2 crates of 77, works out 80p a bottle, they are average £1.30 a bottle in the shops. You pay a £1 a bottle for 330ml bottles of San Miguel in a 4 pack so this is a quality deal.

Picked up some myself, love this stuff. Always enjoy a trip to the brewdog bar in the grassmarket.

Looking at Sainsbury's website it's £14.74 for 12 bottles of Peroni...

Being fair though, you can get 2, 15x 284ml bottle crates of Stella for £16. So that's... 8.52 Litres, £1.88/litre.
On the other hand, this Brew Dog stuff is £19 for 24x 330ml bottles, so £2.40/litre. It's still more expensive than the supermarkets silly offers on big brand beer, but then the product is better

Yeah i agree with what your saying but this stuff isn't mass produced so its a beauty deal for a bit of a treat!

All gone.

this stuff is 10x better the mainstream supermarket ****

Tactical nuclear Penguin £35 330ml, you can get a good 1L whiskey for that much. Is it really that good.

Yes/no. The two aren't comparable really. I could go down to my local supermarket and buy a £35 bottle of Whisky. I could keep the cupboard stocked with the stuff and never run out. Tactical Nuclear Penguin is a limited run and the sort of drink you buy a bottle or two of in your lifetime. It's probable that when Brew Dog run out of TNP they won't make any more (at least for a while), yet you'll still be able to buy that £35 bottle of Whisky from Sainsburys. The beer itself has been matured in Whisky (Jura?) casks for 15 months, then triple frozen to remove some of the water, increasing the ABV. There's not a lot of beers like it on the market. Watch the TNP video on Vimeo if you'd like to know more, it's one of the funnier/more entertaining ones.

Same principle goes for Sink This Bismark and the £500 (yes, £500!) The End Of History (it was a limited run of only 12 bottles). They are special beers, limited runs that you try once or twice in your life (or in the case of The End Of History, probably never).

Personally, having tried TNP and Sink I'm unlikely to order them again. I'm glad I tried them, they're interesting, but I'd rather have 7 bottles of Tokyo* than one each of TNP and STB. Paradox is due back on the shelves in a few months, and I am really looking forward to that. Never tried it, but it's been top of my list of wants for a while (having heard really good things).

Back in stock

Anyone has their beers delivered yet?

Original Poster

Nope. I've paid but heard nothing since. Gonna get on the blower to them tomorrow.

FYI guys, I ordered something a couple of days prior from them and it arrived on Thursday of last week. I'd be surprised if you don't get a courier pop by today or tomorrow as they're usually pretty good.

Did you get a dispatch notice? Not had one. And the order doesn't appear on my account (yet the funds were taken and haven't been refunded). They haven't replied to the email I sent yesterday and they don't answer the phone. To be honest, not happy.

I spoke to someone tues and the arrived yesterday. Website updates aren't working apparently!

Good to hear. Which day did you order? I've still heard nothing, yet they've had my order for 2 weeks now. I've rang/emailed them on a daily basis since Monday with no response.

Ordered on 1st december. Got the 77 lager in. Nice stuff.

Mine came yesterday. Well, everything bar the Tokyo* and Teku glass. They're coming later as both are OOS. They sent me a free BrewDog keyring as an apology (after I asked for one admittedly, wasn't being cheeky though, I genuinely wanted to add one to the order but they said it was free).

This offer is still on. Ordered mine last week and got it today. Great service, Great beer, Great price!
