Known as “the King of Beers,” Budweiser is a medium-bodied, flavourful, crisp American-style lager. Our beer is golden in colour, with a subtle honey aroma and a trace of citrus, punctuated by notes of malt and noble hops. A perfectly balanced, full-flavoured lager.

Flavourful oO
It's made with a large amount of rice instead of barley. Rice is much cheaper than barley and had little to no flavour in brewing use. Good price if you like that sort of thing, but not flavorful!
Mouthwash I'm out sorry op on this one
Didn't these used to be 330ml?

Didn't these used to be 330ml?

Like most products, the size has slowly decreased 'due to the economic climate' - yes, they used to be 330ml in bulk boxes.
Now its usually just the 4-6 packs and cans that are 330ml

I am also fairly certain that I read that due to taxes, the % of alcohol in Budwiser, Fosters, Stella and other brands was reduced to fall within a threshold e.g. 4.4% down to 4.2% :-(

The price per litre is the important comparison. Normally bud on sale will be round about £2 per litre, but seen it as low as £1.67.
The ABV dropped to 4.7 or 4.8%, not 4 2
abv 4.8
Perfect for the BBQ at weekend.
7.2 Litres of Beer, it's not a great beer but it's an evening I'll probably forget, sounds good to me.
These when on offer normally work out at 50p a bottle. As this is slightly less then this is a good deal.
Budweiser used to be 5.0% before they watered down to 4.8% around late 2011. Many beer followed as well such as Stella Artois, Becks, Corba, and Carlsberg Export who did the same because of the tax. I suppose with this price, you can't argue.

Problem is they water them down and they taste like ****, I used to love Singha, it used to be 6% and was lovely, it's now 5% and tastes nothing like it used to.

They blame taxes, but how come I can always find a 70cl bottle of Jim Beam for £13? That's 40%. Although saying that you go to a Pub now and you pay £4.50 a pint... wtf? Used to be £2.10 when I was first 18, there is no way I'd pay £4.50 a pint... I just don't go to Pubs any more.
How is Budweiser similar to making love in a canoe?

They are both f***in* close to water! X)

****.
Crappy beer.

Birra moretti is nice, personal favourite is peroni gran riserva. 6.6% and expect to pay about £1.75 a bottle. Have tried all sorts of fancy pants independent brews and not found one that beats it.
Give me the Beer of Kings anyday! not this rubbish.
King of Beers?? More like Pints of P*SS!

the high level of taxes on beer in the UK means prices can be lower if the alcohol strength abv is lowered, but it's not imposed by the govt as some retailers and manufacturers like to imply, it's their choice to appear competitive. The cheaper brands then reduce bottle size as well, Stella is sold in 284ml bottles, more premium brands are in the usual 330ml, as is Coors. note Bud on draught in pubs is even lower at 4.3% which seems sneaky

How o earth anyone can drink this headache in a bottle is beyond me.Would rather drink water. Then again water had more flavour.
Funny how all the people slating this beer have deliberately clicked on a thread labelled Budweiser to tell us how bad they think it is, how poor it tastes, etc. Just scroll on guys. This deal isn't for you.
