Stella and Carling are both cheap **** british made beer so i would hardly say one is better than the other, stella tastes like cats urine and carling just tastes cheap

stellas not cheap mate granted since whitbread brewed it in the uk its … stellas not cheap mate granted since whitbread brewed it in the uk its not as good as belguim import but its better than most lagers on the market in cans

if its not cheap why was there 24 cans going for a tenner and now 20 bottles for five? thats cheaper than fosters usually is and we know what that amber nectar really is. It is an ok drink though and i may order a few of the 20 bottles for 5 but i try to avoid beer brewed in britain, can never really appreciate it.

You say that like it's a bad thing...

What's with all these ~ £10 crates of lager over the last 12 months? There's been shed loads! Our kitchen been constantly stocked up!

Can't complain but I can see Greedy Gordan cracking his anti-fun whip soon!

Nice one, the Tesco one I posted just ran out! HOT

Maidens water.Or nearer to tap water.

That's not really saying much though is it? Brilliantly marketed though, British people think it's premium, Belgians consider it to be wee.

Lager is cheap to make, transport and store. That's why the big brewers market it so heavily and there can be so many deals. A brewery insider told me that the cost of the can is greater than the cost of the 'brewed' contents.

Very true I've been to Belgium and Stella is just considered a plain run of the mill supermarket beer it's quite often on the lower shelves too. However over here it's considered some sort of premium product.

Personally I still love the stuff and it's still much better than Carling though.

Carling = Egg farts...

Still good price so hot!

When does this offer end on the carling please?
