At 3.7 % you’d have to drink an awful lot to have any ill affects

And bud light
Prices just like the good old days.... A proper 'crate' of 24 not 20, 15, 12 or even 10!
I can remember when you used to get 3 'crates' for £20.......Those were the days
After the dodgy brewing it weaker to pay less tax scam its not even vegetarian/vegan friendly. So you couldnt pay me to drink it.
A handy 'drink' if you 'MUST' drive (personally I don't, but I am often pressed with the old adage..."One won't hurt you". One of these won't).
Alright for the ladies and teenagers in the house ,heat.

I remember Watneys Red Barrel in the 70's. Rumoured to be brewed so a couple of pints would give you a headache - the impression of it being strong and you having a good night. That seemed to kill it off.

Don't forget the can sizes got smaller each time. Hard to find 440s now
Stig loves it warm whilst screaming "Cuba" at the passing trains...
You’d have to pay me a tenner to drink it!

Never tried it. But i once drunk 12 cans of coors and wasnt touched.

Correct me if i'm wrong but, all light beers have lower ABV due to having less alcohol... I mean 7 calories per gram of alcohol sooo its kinda a given
Is it 20 lager and 4 cider??

Looks like it judging by the picture. This probably also has a shorter than usual best before date, albeit not by much

If ASDA were selling it for £2 per case or three for a fiver, I'd give it a wide berth Dreadful lager.

No accounting for taste.

If my maths selves me correctly May 1st North of boarder:3.7%×.50p×24 c …If my maths selves me correctly May 1st North of boarder:3.7%×.50p×24 cans= £44.40

Think its per unit rather than percentage. So with average beer being 1.5 units, its gonna be 75p each so would be £18 for case of 24 carling after May

When will they ever learn?

You don't drink this neat !
Just mix it 50/50 with a 5%+ lager and you've got a perfectly acceptable brew (Taste and - at this price - HOT DEAL!!)

The power of sponsorship (combined with the ignorance of the average footie fan).

This is true. I've been in AA for a good number of years, but Carling and Fosters is not considered an alcoholic drink to us. Mainly for the reason you can drink 15 pints and still be sober

Toy lager. No thanks.
Will ask our Darren to pick some crates up. Will watch the wrestling on Sunday and have a few cans of this
