Night vision on it?
I've checked the page it doesn't state it has night vision, however I can't see a car camera not having night vision, might be worth checking with the seller before if you thinking of buying one.

Night vision on it?

There are what look like 6 infrared lights on the front so I guess these are used for night vision.
Just bought a VETOMILE G70+ 2.45 Inch IPS F/1.5 Super Capacitor WiFi Car DVR Dash Cam for £22.79 on fleaBay.
For reviews look for Alfawise G70.
Last summer my dashcam was almost melting in the sun so I have decided to go for a capacitor model.

At this price point I very much doubt you'll be able to make out much or any night footage and particularly try making out another vehicle registration plate at any distance.
In order to have watchable footage for night time driving you should consider upping the dash-cam budget to one's like these...

Night vision pmsl
I've got the exact one, during daylight it's OK it's more of a poor 720p night time it's like looking through a misted window you can see what's going on but you won't be able to identify much
Got mine from wish for £4
But it is reliable and more so than my newer one

This is watchable but you need to squint at the screen but its still better than none at all

useless inside a car windscreen, the glare back will make it worse than no night vision
I have a blackvue that doesnt have nightvision lights, it has a good lowlight sensor that makes excellent night viweing
its 9 years old - i was a very early adopter to dashcams and imported it from a seller in south korea before they were available in the uk, its saved my ass and paid for itself 10 times over when a taxi hit me and didnt stop, denied being there, then denied hitting me. The clarity of the camera footage showing reg, drivers face and the gforce sensors showing impact, meant he paid for the new bumper and respray of wing, a police investigation and cancellation of his insurance and taxi licence.
it still works great except the battery doesnt retain date now.. which is why capacitors are the way forward now
I wouldnt trust one of these but you dont need to pay the £400 odd of a blackvue but a £30-50 investment can get something much better and reliable than one of these.
Reality check: IR is pointless, video footage will be poor. However, everyone needs a basic camera which demonstrates their position and approx speed in the event of a collision.

If you want to get serious, £80 will get you artificially sharp/acceptable video footage (Roav/Yi with some change), and WDR. Forget about WiFi and GPS and 'lane' anything......all utterly pointless and gimicky. The essentials are to demonstrate your position and approx speed.

For getting basic coverage at a steal of a price.

I bought a dash cam very similar to this one for similar money and it failed after barely a month
got a YI one for around 35£ and I am very happy with the purchase
these type of dashcams are simply not worth the hassle

Thanks for this tip. Bought a nicam variant which I think is the same camera from Amazon warehouse for £14. Quality is average (had it a few hours and already feel like the plastic buttons will stick) but for the price it's fantastic. 2mp camera I think so quality is low but again for the price it's excellent. One thing I can't understand is how I get into the menu and also how I view existing recordings. I've achieved it by pressing or holding lots of buttons but I want to know the 'real' way to do it. Can you help?
Thanks
