Also I read in another post that even after making just the one single post on AVforums, you'll be able to get free delivery...

Whatever, Scans "is it free - or is not" delivery bu*****t, just makes me buy at Ebuyer.

Well, you go ahead and pay £167.35 delivered (http://www.ebuyer.com/product/247776)...I'll just go get my free scan delivery who deliver within 2-3 days (usually 2) rather than Ebuyers erm about 5 business days...

CCL is a good find though...

Is this IPS?

I'd be more tempted to get s Dell 2209WA, IPS screen and a refurb is around £160. Meant to be VERY good, got mine coming tomorrow.

It maybe irrational but it still makes me avoid Scan, I even went through the palaver of joining AVforums and trying to do some spam posts, but got banned as they said I'd only joined to get free postage! Er yeah that's why I joined.

I paid £189.73 less £9.99 delivery for the iiyama Prolite E2407HDS in Sept 09 from misco.

Amazing monitor for both my PS3 and PC, Auto select input and 1080p.

Inbuilt speakers are poor but I don't use them. If anyone needs any more info PM me.

This is a TN and 24" with HDMI and would be better for gaming than your dell.
Personally I'd go for the 24" VA screen from Benq VW2420H, good viewing angles deep blacks and great colours, but then I'm not a gamer.

Good price of £166 at Okobe

Hmm Tempted.

Ah I bought this from overclockers on the 30th. Was £114.99 x 1 - Iiyama ProLite E2409HDS 24" Widescreen LCD Monitor - Black

But then you add on the 9.50 next day delivery (which didn't come next day but okay I ordered at 11:40pm) and the VAT it came to £146.28.

It's a really nice monitor, very large width, larger than I'm use to. The eco features don't really get used tbh, they are modes you turn on and they only dim the backlight it seems to me. But there are already 5 profiles which do the same.

Good quality, I'm noticing though that when I have the steam screen up with all the different grey lines in it's background, when I move the mouse there's a flickering effect in the grey. I'm hooked up via D-sub right now till I get HDMI cable which might be causing it.. The second time I used it the lines were gone though so I thought it was some kind of out of the box warm up issue but now they are back again. It's odd and I hope it doesn't stay.

Anyone know what this is for sure?
