Please don't vote cold because of it's poor 8ms response time. This is a monitor more suited for design and professional use. Akin to the Dell Ultrasharp that was posted here a few weeks - which is an inch smaller and more expensive.

ProLite X2472HD - a 24” LED backlit LCD Screen featuring VA Panel technology offers superb colour performance and amazing viewing angles. Offering 24 bit ‘True Colour’ and great performance for displaying Black and White with the 3000:1 Native Contrast Ratio, means that the Prolite X2472HD will provide excellent performance for Photographic, Design and Web-design. Featuring a fast response full HD 1920 x 1080 Display with VGA, DVI and HDMI connectivity this screen ensures compatibility with a wide range of systems and applications. With the added support of a Low Power LED Panel, the iiyama Prolite X2472HD is an excellent choice for Universities, Corporate, Financial and Design Markets.

Nice find op have some heat

Cold, can get a Dell IPS for not much more.

Actually Edit, Hot, checked prices, this is quite a lot cheaper and therefore the deal is hot, however I would still go for a not much more expensive IPS.

You're looking at around £15 more for a 24" IPS panel (and even then it'll probably be E-IPS). And if you're looking at paying that much then I'd go for the Dell U2410 refurbs on eBay for £299.99 (200597262848) which out does the screen on a 24" iMac.

Not going to bother defending this deal because I can't be arsed, but one review to go on isn't fair. And it isn't the exact same model, either.
Already stated VA panels are not for gaming, they have worse response times than both TN and IPS. They are solely used for their true 8-bit panel and viewing angles. In other words slating a VA panel refresh rate is like test driving a land rover and being annoyed when it isn't great at drifting and hand brake turns.
Of course this won't be brilliant as an all-rounder.... more suited to somebody with a dual screen setup really. With the other monitor being a TN with a 2-5 ms response time.

Fantastic price for a VA panel!! Would've bought this if it were 1920x1200 instead of 1920x1080...

Can't find it for £167.99 though. Scan has it listed at £179.98... o.O

you need to add it to basket directly from the today only page fella

I found this BenQ one from shopping around though:

Same panel, but better specs for less... most importantly it has a feature to up the response time.

Take a look at the one at Crescent I linked above, I'd personally go for that one out of the two
