I got this for £64 from my local Tesco last month, and am really pleased with it. Bought one of the cheap USB Hard drives at the same time. Came in under £100, but doesn't look cheap. It was ex-display, hence why I didn't post it on here...

if only I could be bothered to drive to springburn!

maybe try maryhill tomorrow on the off chance

I purchased one of these last Christmas when they were reduced to £99. The holes on the back to mount the stand didnt line up with the thread sockets so the stand could not be attached nor a wall bracket. Well made...not. Picture quality wasnt great. sent back for refund.

Thats cheap, but it's a bit small isn't it?

STAY WELL CEAR OF TECHNIKA. It is very low quality and cheap rubbish.
Breaks just after the 12 month warranty and Tesco will not fix or replace. Just offer a small amount of compensation.
I have bought Technika and would never touch it after experiencing faults and bad customer service from Tesco;.
I read about the faults online in Forums and wished I had read these before I bought it.
And to cap it all picture quality was poor, the remote was so cheap and bad.

That's one of the problems with supermarkets muscling in on every single market and industry. Stack them high and sell them low. They've squeezed the margins out of everything. No specialisation or product knowledge, no regard for the law, no concern for customers, cheap low grade goods.

steer clear of technika, total cheap crap. had a 40" off them a couple years ago, within 12 months or less the sound started distorting on certain things, bass or pitch sounds mainly... spend the extra and get a known brand like Panasonic or something. this is like buying alba -_-

had a 40 in technika for 5 years and not a problem -what a comment - spend the extra on a Panasonic a well know brand - ohh a tv Nazi again - theres umpteen cheaper tvs out on the market now and most compare very well to as you say a well known brand - as in most things do your homework before you buy and grab yourself a bargain - as this offer is !!

Bought this tv a few weeks back for £139.99 in my local.

Picture and sound is terrible. Tv kept turning off randomly. Tesco tryed to tell me it was the standby timer but i knew it wasnt. Managed to return it as they were trying to be funny. Will be the last technika and last tv purchase from tesco

all these 'STAY AWAY FROM TECHNIKA' comments is just bull, i used to say the same with Samsungs as i had two that blew up in a very short space of time (one of them was 50mins into using it) and i have stuck with Toshiba since (great TVs) ... took a gamble on a cheap Samsung last year and that's been pretty solid since then.

My younger brother has a 40inch Technika in his bedroom and that's still going strong after two years. Each to their own and all that, but i think it's just (bad) luck of the draw if a TV craps out on you, no matter what brand it has on the front.

Ive had a technika 32 " my bedroom for about 6 years now and never had a problem with it and also have a 22" in a campervan for about 3 years and never had an issue with it I guess it depends on make and model. Still for £74.50 its a pretty good deal depending on your experience with it after purchase remember its only £74.50

Ive got 3+ year old technica TV and have had no issues with it, still works like a charm.

theres also a stack in wishaw

My 22" Tosh has just quite on me - less than 2 years old. I ordered a Technika from Tesco on Tuesday and will collect today. Although having seen this I think I will be visit the local homeplus store - having said that I wanted the TV combo - anyone know if these were also reduced?

None in Slough extra. If I phone up other stores will they tell me if they are doing this promotion?

Where's the need to call someone a TV Nazi because they have an opinion that differs to yours....rude and ignorant....think you should change your username to billyman and grow some and apologise....and as everyone with 2 brain cells knows, no cheap store TV will ever compare to a Panasonic....ever, no matter how many times you say it....and just because something lasts more than 5 mins....doesn't make it good does it....

if any one is still wants one around the leigh area they have just restocked some today as i was shopping

in haverfordwest extra too

Downstairs in Wishaw there are around 6 of these near the travelator

Any near our in Milton Keynes? The Kingston store does not have them in stock. Thanks.

When I were a lad we used to buy technika TV from local tesco store in the morning for 2 and sixpence and by lunchtime it would have blown up and murdered our whole family and that night it would dance on our grave.

Which is why they have a tech support team in all extra stores with product knowledge on tvs/laptops/cameras etc etc.. And as long as you keep the receipt the tv week be sent away for repair even outside of the 1 year warranty, love how people come in here complaining yet actually don't have an f-ing clue what they are on about
