Boys bike?

How do you determine what is the correct size for you? When I went to a 'proper' cycle retailer/webpages to look at their size guides, they suggests that 24" on a mountain bike is XXL, suited to people 6'4" and over:

The two sites I quickly googled:

evanscycles.com/hel…ing

bikeradar.com/beg…77/

EDIT: I See T-R-Us have unhelpfully given the wheel diamater rather than telling you the frame size, which probably explains why this looks one for giants........but I'm still no further forwards as a comsequence of their useless description!

boys or mens really depends on size of our inside leg

if your 6'4 i would say 26" buddy im 5'8 and i fit perfect on this bike with the seat up but i brought 26" and left the seat down and its perfect

I'm gonna hazard a guess that this is a 24" wheel sized bike, not a 24" frame

also, for comparison, I'm 5'8" and ride an 18.5" trek MTB

Thanks folks for replies - is the 26" of this still to be found OP? Think I'd need that (5'10"), but couldn't even locate your above find on their website looking independantly without your direct link.

its the 26" baseline someone else had already posted it before me so they took my deal down but its one of the hot ones atm

26 inch have a really bad reviews. I guess you get what you paid for. Looks like it will not last long

Looks like the one my wife uses for going up the shop on

It's cheap and heavy, but it does the job .

I'm buying one for Antur Stiniog's double black, Powdwr Du, see how it fairs. My bargain pedals cost more than that.

That's no way to talk about your wife.

I don't think anyone should buy this trash. Better off looking on eBay for something used and decent

When a product comes from a shop that has toys in the title, please don't be mistaken that the products are anything but toys.

When it comes to a bike with so many moving parts (and really pointless full suspension to add even more moving parts and weight) from a toy shop and a possibility of any of these moving parts failing even at modest speeds of 10mph this toy could do some serious damage to the person playing with the toy.

I hope these toys come with health warnings.

Also; I'm not against deals or adults playing with toys - I know I play with toys in my 30s but when the cheapest end of the market on sale at its very best price is £100 (i.e. Decathlon bikes) and something half the price of that without it being liquidation stock or excellent independent reviews you need to be wary. Nobody is being a bike snob when voting these cold, they are just trying not to add another horrible statistic to one of the freest and fun methods of transportation there is.

am I right in thinking you cant fit a rear child seat to bikes with rear suspension?

well days in and no problems at all witht the bike rides fine for what i need it for just back and forth to work. i usually spend £5 per day on a taxi to get to work so only a few more days on the bike and ive got my money back on it. I suppose if your rallying then you might have problems occur! i'm just taking it easy and trying not to break it like i did with my GT BMX after only a day!

You can't attach a child seat as toys r us dont sell them as they dont fit there bikes is what i was told when i brought this bike

Cycle snobbery is alive n kicking I see - those who have trolled a deal which is entry level at best need to have a wee think to themselves........were the people who OP shared this deal with maybe gonna opt for a £2k bike instead?!
