Not sure if the post was updated, but it says "it's in-store only"

can someone tell me what's so good about these pens? son starts secondary in September so it might be useful for him, or is it just us girls that like an abundance of pens and pencils in our bags?

thanks I'll see if the offers still on next time I go in

brill deal- there are big signs and displays in whsmith- looks like its going to be on for the summer.

Good deal as WH SMiths charge £3 for one black sharpie !

There are brilliant pens, bargain!!

Wouldnt be surprised if Whsmiths become another high street casualty sooner or later

£10 on amazon if you didn't want to travel to get these

thanks

Got this in store yesterday. You have to buy a "back to school" item in order to get the £6.99 price which is a bit strange as the schools are only breaking up this week.

Makes me think the offer will be on for another 6 weeks.

Not clear what the cheapest "back to school" item is so if anyone can post examples that would be good. I bought a large multipack of ballpoint pens for £3.99 but I am wondering if I could just have bought a single ballpoint !

Sharpies went through till at £16.99, ballpoints at £3.99 and then at sub-total the linksave kicked in and knocked £10 off the sharpies.

(Noticed another linksave offer with a set of WHSMITH's own brand fineliners - £19.99 down to £5.99 when bought with any pencil case.)

It's stationEry. StationAry is when you're not moving

They had this last year but they where cheeper but with any pencil case?
Got some then!
Still a good deal though!

"24 pack of sharpies for £6.99 when you buy anything from the stationary section."

Do they have a section that is in motion?

I bought a glue stick which was 52p and got these for £6.99. I also bought 2 magazines at £4.99 and £2.99 so used a £5 off when you spend £15 till spill voucher aswell!

That reminds me when I was driving along and a sign said "Caution - stationery vehicle ahead", I was laughing at their spelling mistake when I ploughed into the back of a W H Smith van.

Definitely only in-store, and as far as I'm aware, it does trigger with things like pencils (at least, I was told this, I have yet to personally test but will do if I remember). Offer should be on until the middle of September-ish, second week I think. - I work at Smiths, so get all the insider info It's a big selling point at the moment, so Smiths want to give you this offer!

The offer sticker peels off to show the limited edition 80s label. Like the previous poster has said, Smiths defo want people to buy this as they must have negotiated a bulk purchase with Sharpies.

They must have produced a fair wedge of these for a "limited edition" and using the back to school strapline before schools have even broken up indicates the warehouse must be full

Sharpies are great, but now we have a little person in our world I'm thinking of moving away from permanent ink in the house!

Great price, thanks

What are these good for? Why do people need permanent in in 24 different colours? They're not much good for writing on paper.
