Once you add it to the basket the price drops even more.. Seems to be some discount on this weekend

(Its £185 and then you can also get quidco)

so the dell has a hdmi slot but a lower resolution? Not worth the extra IMO although dell are great the lower ends are nothing special.

The great thing about full res monitors is the real estate(full web pages side by side etc) - I have only just discovered something that I never knew,.
It's an immense tip, IMHO - feel free to rep me up when you try it. It was from Tech-Digest.

Quick refresher how to tile windows vertically or horizontally. This works with vista, XP, 2000, 2003, and most other windows environments.

By clicking on the windows in the taskbar while holding down the CTRL key, you can select multiple windows at once. Once more than one is selected, you can tile them by right clicking on one of the entries in the taskbar and select the tile option from the context menu.

1. Click the taskbar entry for the first window
2. Hold down CTRL and click the second window
(Both of these taskbar entries should now be colored differently)
3. Right click one of the selected taskbar entries
4. Select either tile vertically or tile horizontally from the context menu

Great price btw

almost double the power usage compaired to the Dell!! Lower Contrast ratio, also

Thanks for that - the Dell seems to be a better bet at this price than the ViewSonic.

Thanks for the heads-up on the Dell, didn't know the offer was back on. Cheers.
