Good price but is it the stuff that's brewed in the UK and Netherlands or that which is brewed solely in Amsterdam.
The sort brewed between the two countries tastes dreadful in comparison to the Dutch only version

There's an enormous difference, why do you think the cans are always so cheap, cos they're not imported

If you can’t taste the difference then you have no taste buds. Dutch brewed Heineken is way nicer.
62.5p per 330ml bottle.
Which is slightly more expensive beer than Becks when it shows up at £10 per 20 bottles @ 275ml (calculated as 60p for 330ml)
But then there's a (flimsy?) crate (and only for skinny little bottles) ...
So yes, it is a DEAL, but maybe not a totally amazing one...
And Becks used to come in from Germany. It claims to comply with German purity laws, but guess what - made in UK.

Correct. You can definitely tell the difference.

Got one myself today, decent crate, would take a lot of bashing around to break it tbf. Great deal
Just got the last one at my local thanks
And yes the Netherlands brew is a little better but this is still HOT for price!

Thanks, my cursory inspection of the crate in Sainsbury's (when they had them on offer), left me thinking it was rather flimsier than the "tough as old boots" commercial crates that get used as step-stools, etc!
Just bought in Ormskirk, Lancashire

That's not true, my partner works for Heineken and she says this is nonsense, it's the same brewing process used at all locations and there is no difference at all. Beer brewed in the Netherlands is the same as the beer brewed at Tadcaster, Manchester etc. in the UK.
