Bought a fair few boxes of these in the past month and we've got enough decent tea to last us well over a year now, for next to nothing. In store only apparently, can't see it repeated online.

I honestly don't know. Posted this thread a month back and didn't get any real answers so assumed it was just a random pricing error and let it sink. But they've been this price in our local (Roneo Corner, Romford, Essex) for over a month now, with plenty of restocks. So it's definitely not an error.

Very Hot but bet it wont be in a store near me :x

Only problem with Yorkshire Tea is that the bags are loose in the box, rather than sealed in bags of 40...it means they don't stay as fresh when stocking up.

Red hot deal though...think I'll buy a box and use ahead of my Typhoo bags I've stocked up

Waiting for someone to confirm stock in other stores before running for this. Not voted.

Hardly been any decent tea deals at Tesco for a while now.
Have my doubts this will be nationwide.

Nice price. Just 80 in Sainsbury's / Asda etc... are around £2.30. The 160's are about £4.00.

I actually switched to Yorkshire Tea after getting the free sample a few months back that was mention on this site. It's so much better tasting than Tetley's (what I used to drink). I ran out the other day, so I've been meaning to get some more, and at this price... it can't be beaten. The only thing is, my local Tesco's is one with a garage so I don't think they'll have this offer in there (if they even stock it). They'll probably do the 80's but don't see them stocking 240's. I've even got a £1 voucher so this could be even cheaper for me.

I'll vote it hot, but can't see my local having these at this price.

For those that haven't tried this tea, do so. It'll be the best cuppa you ever had.

anyone confirm this price?

Good tea, good offer - but £5.99 at the Tescos around here.

Good,strong tea.

Put em in a plastic storage box - no problems then!:whistling:

This is a good deal - bought 480 catering pack for £8 at ASDA and thought that was decent

Would any of you tea afficionados care to comment if this tastes better than Sainsbury's Red Label? Is Yorkshire Tea suited for London tap water?

Yorkshire Tea made from the blood, sweat and tears of the Yorkshire people. Yes I'm from Yorkshire and proud of it!

Just bought them for £5.99 in my area.

Good price but I don't like tea bags, doesn't taste as good as loose leaves. At this price though it's worth it for keeping hold of some bags when i'm feeling lazy or got a lot of people round

A decent cuppa but I can't see past Clipper myself

Fact:-
Yorkshire tea is grown in the old coal mines in Yorkshire. At That depth, it is very warm and humid. When the pits were shut down, they still had to be maintained, and so it was decided to make use of them at the same time. All the shafts are lined in UV lights, and the conditions down there are tropical, just right for growing tea ( and other leaf products ;-))
Dont believe me ?
Visit the Yorkshire tea web site, I think it is all there.

Have some rep :-D

I'm guessing the ex-miners are still employed down the mines, working the plantation :whistling:

£5.99 here,I think this may be an old picture being used, I remember this happening a while back with yorkshire tea and it was the same then-there was no deal on.

Picture was taken this morning. And it was me who posted the last deal too, minus a picture, about 5 weeks ago. That was when I first spotted it though, so I wasn't sure then if it was a fleeting pricing error or not.

5 weeks later, some evidence that it's not. :-D

Most definately will taste better than Sainsbury's Red Label.

Yorkshire Tea do have a range of tea for hard water. Instead of the red foreground, it's green. Don't know if these will be on offer too - but worth a look.

I live in London myself, but still prefer the main brand of Yorkshire Tea than their "for Hard Water" kind.

£5.99 in Halifax

This is £5.99 in Newcastle too...

great price-heat added

£5.99 in Burnley Tesco Extra

I love Yorkshire tea ... its so strong and earthy.

it seems like this deal doesnt exist! everyones getting it for £5.99 not £2. great cup of tea though, i bought the tetley strong tea for £1.04 in tescos last week and think they'll do until there's a good deal on the yorkshire ones, normally in nisa today/costco the 160 is £1.99 but not sure if the deal is currently on

£5.99 in Colchester, how does this get to over 400 degrees?
