Deal for new customers is £29.99pm with £59.99 upfront costs. £95.95 from Topcashback so go through them not the link I had to provide and a £150 pre-paid Mastercard from BT which you have to claim. Equivalent to £14.93pm, or £12.59pm if you pay line rental cost upfront as 10% off £18.99pm. Make sure you select Infinity Unlimited not the 25GB option at the same cost! Don't forget to diarise your switch at the end of 12 months

Sounds good. What do they class as a new customer ? - A signup in a new name at the same address as the existing connection ?

Wouldn't have thought so, but you'd have to check the t&c's

I'd be interested to see what fibre deal people can find for less so that they are voting cold....

59.99 upfront cost puts me of a little.

I think it may be around £10 if you have fibre already.

Me too, as I am perhaps looking to move from Sky Fibre when my half price deal comes to an end.

i've just finished with virgin and was looking for a good deal or go back virgin, thanks i will have a look at this one if i can get away with that amount upfront,it's a bit tight with xmas.

Would be interested to know what current BT customers can get? I've come to the end of my current 12 months contract with BT Infinity 1 unlimited and now paying £26 a month. :-(

Hmm if on Virgin fibre I think you'll have to pay £59.99 as not part of the BT Openreach network (why I'm never going with Virgin again, as too much hassle to get off them once deal ends, even just keeping your number is difficult).

Sadly I think the only way to get a good deal is to keep switching to new companies - you can circle back to BT later. You might haggle down a bit but I'd guess around £30pm min (inc. line rental- if you're getting £26 all in, you're doing well!) from when I've tried to help someone else before.

Ah, currently paying £26 for infinity 1 unlimited only + line rental, so closer to £46 a month, hence not such a good deal compared to £40 a month for new customers + a £150 reward card.

Thanks, BT random prices! Just going to the BT website it shows it has £21 broadband + £18.99 line rental (£40), but via the link at the top of this post it is £11 broadband + £18.99 line rental (£30).

Will give them a call tomorrow and see how things go and what if anything they will offer me to stay.

Good luck but you'll almost certainly be better off to move then come back later. Something ofcom will deal with sometime, i hope, in the same way that ofgem is trying to make energy prices more transparent....

I saw a Plus Net deal which looked very good. Might have to suggest that when I talk to BT and see if that helps.

It's a pity there are not options to move to another supplier for 1 month and then come back to BT like you can do with mobile contracts, as that would make life much easier rather than having to move for 1 year or 18 months.

If you get a good deal away from BT why would you want to come back after a month?

I think I might go for this but does anyone know which Tv package you have to take? I was looking at the entertainment starter package so I can get BT sports

I got this last week through Quidco for internet+tv+calls and ordered the £3 Entertainment Starter tv pack which did the job and the £130 cashback tracked immediately. My option requires a new phone line installed too and the whole lot worked out to £13.59 a month.

Aww fab thanks for letting me know! Did you claim the £150 pre-paid card also? I was wondering if that would be in time for xmas?

You get £95.95 cash back without a TV package so you don't have to have one, but you get a bit more if you do, of course you also pay more! You also get the £150 card but you have to claim it.

Well i'm waiting on installation next monday so haven't gotten that far yet. My install date was 11 days out.
Just got this email from Quidco, so that same offer is still on.

"Get a BT Reward card pre-loaded with £150 + £130 cashback
Join BT today and enjoy TV, fibre broadband and weekend calls for just £29.99 / month (inc. line rental)."

Oh great good to know, I was hoping to have it in before Saturday for UFC 205, I may be a little optimistic!

Thanks for your help everyone, got £130 tracked through Quidco but not getting installed until 21st Nov! Apparently I can watch BT Sports online or via app until installation though so every cloud!

I cancelled by BT Infinity 1 + landline and service ends next week (Jumped on the £190 Quidco / £100 sainsburys voucher rebate last year). Will be paying £31 cessation charge.
Wife applied as a new customer on Friday 4th Nov and BT resupply us a week after I get disconnected. So getting the following
* BT Infinity 1 Unlimited (£11 pm) (£59.99 for BT Super hub and connection charge)
* New telephone number + free weekend calls (I also want the socket moved to the nucleus of the house so this saves me money doing it privately). (£19pm but I paid £205 upfront line rental saver)
* BT Vision with free BT Sports package (£10 upfront cost - £0pm)
* SIMO unlimited mins / texts and 500MB 4G data (£5pm)

Wife went through Quidco so we get the following things back (hopefully)
* Quidco £170 for new customer BT Broadband + BT Calls + BT TV + SIMO Starter plan
* BT Rewards Mastercard £150 (Claim 2-3 weeks after BT Infinity 1 activation)
* BT Rewards iTunes / Amazon £20 (Claim 2-3 weeks after BT SIMO activation)

This works out as £31 cessation charge + £275.07 upfront costs + (£15.99 x 12 months = £191.88) Fibre/SIMO - £170 Quidco - £150 Mastercard - £20 Amazon voucher = TCO of a whopping £157.95 (which works out to be £13.16pm)

p.s I really liked my last 12 months with BT. No traffic shaping. Always max speeds for steam downloads and youtube / iplayer never flinched even when 4 devices were streaming different things at same time. Wife n kids have not uttered the dreaded word "buffering" in the last year.

Just spoke with BT and pretty pleased.

Started with the £18.99 line rental + £26.00 Unlimited Infinity 1.

First offer was £20 broadband. I said I wasn't happy with this, based on new customers being offered alot more discount. Was told they couldn't offer any more, but would have a chat with manager and see if anything could be done.

Second offer was £12 broadband. I said I was happy with this, but then asked for a new SmartHub. Was told this definately wasn't possible, as they had given me the best price on broadband. Went to have a chat with manager again...

Third offer was £12 broadband and free smarthub, just £9.99 delivery. Result, happy days.

So yes I had to sign for a 24 month contract, but the broadband is discounted for 24 months, so can't complain.

Very surprised this is so cold, as it is a cracking deal for NEW CUSTOMERS.
Although I can probably imagine why, with current BT customers being bitter that they are paying so much. I knw because I am moving into a flat next week where the current tenant has BT and is paying £52 a month including line rental.

I have just signed up for this last night using TCB and it works out an amazing deal
£275.07 upfront (all connection charges, plus annual line rental saver)
£9.50 monthly bill (52mb unlimited, starter tv pack (free - still includes BT Sport), weekend calls)
£115.50 cash back (tracked already - select the "Broadband, Calls and TV" package - i haven't paid anything extra for my calls or my TV yet it has tracked as the infinity 1 bundle includes weekend calls, and the starter pack includes a youview box and BT sport)
£125 prepaid - Mastercard (need to apply for once connected)

Total annual cost before cashback = £389.07
Minus cashback and mastercard (115.50 + 125 = £240.50) = £148.57
Per month comes to just £12.38!

Yes, in 12 months I will shop around, but if it saves me £40 per month versus the previous tenant, why wouldn't I? X)

does anyone know where the last bt fibre deal we had via topcashback about 2 months ago i cant find , i am so furious as bt havent paid £200+ tcb instead they only gave £134 and wanted to see if others had the same issue

Well i've just tried to get bt to waiver the 59.99 fee as i'm on fibre optic with virgin, and they wouldn't budge, dealbreaker.

jazzuk777

no their not having any of it 59.99 is what they want.
