Got a karcher at the moment. Wanted to upgrade to nilfisk. Which guide rates these the best buys. I'd only be using mine for car washing

I have a K4 full control. Does anyone know if this is an upgrade? Thanks.

I got this but returned it has very heavy. Found the c125 to be perfect.

The Karcher I have doesn't have wheels and the hose is quite short so it struggle to get round the cars. I see now the K2 even has wheels. So I must have a really old K2. Does the wheels on this not help with the weight?

I would basically be jet Washing car. Foam. But I'd need to buy a nilfisk end to replace the Karcher end. Hopefully not too difficult. I'd probably buy another foam Lance so I can shampoo through foam. Although might keep the nilfisk Lance as with shampoo I just want the car covered. Not as important as snow foam and flow etc.
Have my proper Lance foam. Nilfisk Lance just shampoo so I don't need my buckets anymore.

For me personally, having to drag it out and it being so heavy was a pain. Guess if you can store it nearby than its fine.
Also I polish my cars on a regular basis and find too much pressure takes the polish off.
The c125 for me had decent power, compact.

I thought these could be kept outside as they use metal rather than plastic pumps. But I've seen people online still get leaks etc from water freezing in them. The shop I bought the Lance off doesn't sell just adaptors. But I'm hoping some eBay cheap ones would do the job . I would only be really washing then spray wax. Probably never polish as cars are leases and only kept for two years

Regardless wouldn't recommend keeping it outside. Metal does corrode. I see you just pressure wash with a foam lance.
In that case definitely recommend this as you will need maximum pressure to remove muck off.

Why is the patio cleaner with the nilfisk better?

The nilfisk machine is more powerful so is more suitable for using on your patio. The patio cleaner doesn't look all that great
Please note that the code is 'TENOFF' (not TENNOFF).

Good post imo, hot from me.
That Nilfisk is brilliant, I have had one for a couple of years the same model.
Just need to find something for a penny to get the suitcases... not likely!
THANKS

I really can't believe some comments, I have a K4 and the hose is plenty long enough to just move the unit once whilst going around a large estate car, and as for weight people must be punny if they can't lift it.

Looks like your model has 2m longer hose than K2. Decided against buying this. Only use mine twice a month on cars. Wouldn't see the benefits of the added power I don't think
You can use the £10 off against gift cards too.

I've always bought the nandos cards, which are £40 worth for £34.99.

Buy £120 worth of gift cards for £104.97. Take the £10 off voucher making it £94.97 for a typical £120 spend. Just a thought.
Does it work with tyres?

Rotary brush would work nicely with tyres

if you concerned about poor pumps then dont get this rubbish and get a kranzle, brass pumps and the power washers last a lifetime with regular use. Pumps last 1000s hours, karcher/nilfisk last about 50 hours. They arent cheap but they arent cheap toys like the karcher or nilfisk. My T1152 is about 5 years old and is used about once every 2 weeks for 4 hours non stop cleaning 4 cars, etc, plus pressure is so good i can add extension hoses to it and clean cars 50 ft+ away, my mid range karcher couldnt do this.

Thanks mate. I've known about Kranzle but as I don't even wash my car once a week. Thought of them as too expensive. I thought this brand were more reliable than Karcher for a little bit more money.

Karcher and nilfisk are for home use and are throwaway landfill when they go wrong. kranzle are professional grade and you can replace every part, mine came with a 10 year warranty. They come with a lot of features too like brass pumps, you can leave it powered on when the gun is not in operation which you cannot and should to do with karcher or nilfisk ie. It can be dry run, build quality is exceptional, etc. It depends like everything how much use you get, but for me it was a no brainier. All detailer I know use kranzle or custom made power washers for some aspects of detailing, some are purists and will only use two or three bucket method
