Simply Rewards is promoted on the Nationwide site. nationwide.co.uk/sup…its

You need to register via Visa's website at: nationwide.visaoffers.eu

How it Works
1. Register for Simply Rewards by Nationwide with your Nationwide Visa Debit or Credit Card
2. You will receive relevant cashback offers based on where you spend using your registered card
3. To redeem an offer, simply make a purchase that meets the terms of the offer
4. Your Nationwide Visa debit or credit card will then automatically be credited with cashback, typically within five business days

T&Cs
Cashback is fully funded by Nationwide for Nationwide Visa debit & credit card holders. To redeem this offer, you will need to spend a minimum of £100.00 in one or more online purchases at Amazon.co.uk, which are confirmed as being distributed by Amazon.co.uk^, by email to you, before December 31 2015, including taxes and after any other discounts.

*******

OFFER FINISHED

Haven't got your credit?

Looks like a few folks are getting the customer service shunt from Nationwide to Visa to Visa Europe when trying to find out where their credit is. Don't get fobbed off.

If you think you met the conditions of the offer don't just ring **Nationwide** with a question, OPEN A FORMAL COMPLAINT instead!

nationwide.co.uk/sup…int

YOU: "I want to raise a complaint".
Nationwide: Why?

YOU: "I didn't get my cashback"
Nationwide: Talk to Visa....

YOU: "No, because although the Visa Cashback Service is managed, operated and run by Visa it is marketed by Nationwide."
Nationwide: So?

YOU: The banking code says you must ensure marketing is not not misleading. In this case Ive been mislead by your advertising into making a purchase I would not have otherwise made.
Nationwide: errr.......

Not only does this put them on a set timeline to investigate under the banking code, it you play it straight you'll more than likely get a small amount of compensation in addition to the resolution. Kerrching!

Check t&cs before you do! Might not get cash back on vouchers

There's no additional T&Cs - so assume gift cards ok.

If your are going to buy a gift card check out Chanci's post.

Or, the 15% off of Amazon warehouse is now working.

This might fair better in the deals section - but mod removed as a duplicate.

Nice!

Its a scam, website link blocked.Has anyone contacted Nationwide to confirm?? It just asks for a email address and then sends a link to confirm which Malwarebytes says is a known scam address, be wary until confirmation from Nationwide

If they've also managed to hack the main page of Nationwide, then they probably don't need to try and phish you!

Can anyone confirm this works with gift cards? I was going to spend over £100 at Amazon this year anyway so if it works with gift cards that would be ideal.
I saw an offer for 10% off up to £250 at argos on the page too if anyone needs that.
As I have a number of nationwide cards, does anyone know if I can register each card separately and qualify for the offer each time

Good question... I would like to know as well...
This is going to get searing hot! Especially if it works with multiple Nationwide cards!
What do they mean "by email" ? Only offers from Amazon emails, not any product on the website? That would exclude giftcards:
"online purchases at Amazon.co.uk, which are confirmed as being distributed by Amazon.co.uk, by email to you"

Would definitely use this if it works on gift vouchers. I've never used the rewards before but have registered ages ago. Anyone know how to check what card is linked to your account? I can't find it, but want to make sure I pay with correct card to get the rewards.
can it be used if I buy 75 gift card? and do I have to spend 100 ore more on one transaction or can I spend 100 in the next couple of days of buying different things if I wanted to?

No, it's stating the confirmation email must be from Amazon, for the distribution of Amazon products. Gift cards would be included.

"distributed by Amazon" i.e. fulfilled by Amazon, not necessarily "Amazon products"
Hmm, fishy. What's in it for Nationwide then?
I searched fro amazon on Nationwide's site and didn't get this deal.

Instead, last year they offered amazon vouchers if you took out insurance with them (which could make sense for them), but there is no mention of this deal there:

I'm not clicking on that link until this makes sense - banks aren't in the habit of giving customers free money ...

It's on their official Simply Rewards website and is entirely legit.
Like Saddler34, I have just bought a £100 giftcard with the free teddy and had an email confirming my order. If Nationwide dispute the order then I will argue the toss with them as I have stayed within the T&C that they have :-)

Exactly right.
Great deal.

"We'll pay cashback onto your Nationwide Visa card, typically within five business days"

Hopefully the cashback will arrive before I switch my account!

You have to sign into your Nationwide on line banking and click on the link to "my offers" then click on "Cashback on brands" and follow the link. You will have to sign up for the cashback but it is very simple once done.

It seems the offer is more funded by Visa than Nationwide and cash back is paid within five days
Brilliant thank you, just logged into my simply rewards account and have it there. Cash back paid within 5 working days which is good
Nice one OP - never knew about these so just signed up and there are a lot of good offers!

Amazon one says ends 17/12/2015??
when did this offer start?
Anyone out there used the new Simply Rewards system and has actually received the cashback in their account. I know someone who used a Nationwide credit card (registered with Simply Rewards) at Argos a couple of weeks back and has not received their cashback
Really tempted to buy a wileyfox swift 4g dual sim phone this morning at £99.99 deal of the day at amazon, now even more tempted to combine this with it? just have to buy a email e-voucher of £100 from amazon , delivered now , and reuse the e-voucher to buy the phone....... making the phone a nice £75 only........ Am I brave enough? Will it work with email certificate?

Then they should file a claim against the clearly stated guide in the 'Help' section.
