£25 iTunes Gift Card for £20 @ Boots

50
Found 29th May 2013
Just updated the store last night and these gift cards are now only £20 for a £25 gift card. It may be a 20% discount across all cards but my store only sells the £25 unfortunately!

Might help people out who don't want to spend on the Currys deal.

Boots accept Love2Shop cards for folk who get a discount (they don't advertise it clearly on Love2shop website, etc, but is available in store when paying.

(Currently 7.5% discount)

Till when is this promo?

Do you earn Boots points on purchases of these?

Nope

No boots points for gift cards, mobile top ups etc. I personally don't see why not as long as it isn't a Boots Gift Card (essentially getting points awarded twice for purchase) but hey.

Not sure. I want to say at least a month, as that's when I will change … Not sure. I want to say at least a month, as that's when I will change the store plan around again, but may in fact be longer as some offers don't get changed.

Do you have a link or a picture of the promo?

Unfortunately not, the only promotional piece we got was a tiny bit of paper on a piece of plastic stuck above the gift cards! I can try and take a picture when in work next on Friday, and see if the promo dates are on there.

Don't all these iTunes voucher reductions just prove that the content available on iTunes is overpriced?

Till when is this promo?

I would think it's on till Sunday, June 16, Farther's Day. Normally these deals seem to appear around these types of occasions.

Hardly a deal, they seem to be £20 in almost every store.

Should be able to. Pretty sure advantage card points are treated the same as cash, so should be able to be used on anything as long as it covers the full amount (no part points/part cash). Can't collect points on them though!

Even though I'm not gaining anything from this? All I'm doing is trying to help people out? I don't exactly own Boots (although it would be nice to!).

Needlessly difficult of you.

If the lady isnt "Mr Boots" I dont see a problem with store workers posting deals, infact it can be very helpful as they can answer questions, etc

Please dont ban the lady for this, that would be ridiculous

If he gets punished because he works for Boots I would be go smacked. Hopefully the mods aren't that silly.

Heat added.
Thanks OP

Thanks for the support- I'm not trying to gain anything from this just thought it would be useful for fellow members. If this thread is breaching the rules then ill happily let the mods have their way.

I'm a girl as well

Have some heat, this is a better deal than the Currys one as I have no need for £50 in one go. Pay no attention to the morons.

Thanks Ma'am

I use my Love2Shop voucher and load up on these now and then, so I might get £50 vouchers for approx £37... Then that gives me Sky Sport TV for ten months (using the iPhone app scaled up on my ipad)... Triple bargain.

If the OP has any connection to the retailer it's not allowed. It's in the rules. (not yours)

They need to change the rules then.

might have to pop in

Companies can self promote all they like for all I care. It's the masses that vote on deals or not anyway so what's the problem?

Funny how the OPs comment has disappeared

Can somebody confirm it's stil running on 3 june, I need to make a long drive so it would be nice to now for sure.

To everyone hating:

I didn't say it wasn't a nonsensical rule, I just stated the rule of this site which everyone agreed to as part of participation.

The post could get deleted.

Either that or the site is hypocritical.

You can't redeem your boots points on gift cards for those asking

Thanks, OP! Read it this morning, went in and got the deal this afternoon. I'd missed the Asda one.

I did ask the assistant to check if I had enough Advantage points to buy one, but instead she told me just what Trundlez says in the post above.

Does anyone know if these cards can be used on Newsstand subscriptions? I'd imagine so but thought I'd check before I buy one.

all i can say is thanks alarae.Been and bought today. If people work for a company and theres a good on ot would be stupid and selfish not to post it.She dosent own boots does she?Keep posting you helped me.
