Is this some special partnership between Pepper and Getsafe as this is the second time posted by an editor/manager - not a problem if so though may be worth clarifying

Jeebus. Why are some people just desperate to criticise no matter what. They get paid, they are clear about this. If you take the offer up you get some free coverage and some free netflix and you might even be so happy with the service you stay on with Getsafe (or cancel - your choice). That's literally what the site is about. Take it or don't take it. Use this site or don't use this site.

If they don't make money somehow, the site wouldn't exist. It costs you as the user zero to use. Nada. Nothing.

If you don't like it, set your own completely free site up, take on all the staff, server and admin costs with no revenue and see how you get on.
Will this work on a Turkish subscription?

Hi From our FAQ section:

Merchants sometimes send insider info, or upcoming deals content and the editors also have the task of sorting the junk from the jewels - they’ll share only deals that they feel are genuinely decent. They work on behalf of the community and don’t compromise.

Our Deal Editor team will review these deals and if they believe it is something the community will want to see then they'll share it.
I did this a few weeks ago when it was the £15 Amazon voucher. Was very easy and definitely worth it
Lucky for those who live outside London, we londoners have to pay extra for everything

Its not what the community will want to see, its what the companies bank account wants, you wouldn't post this deal for free now would you only posted because they offered money

Quite the opposite. We only post because we think it is a good deal.

So far, members seem to agree based on how they have voted.

Of course of course
You may think it's a good deal and it's not bad but at the end of the day the point is you're still getting some sort of payment or special commission offering

We can earn money from external links (marked with *), and we point this out on every deal, in the site footer and in the welcome message. Happy to confirm we do earn money from this deal, but only posted it because we believe it is good. So far we are happy with the reception it's had.

Yep - I actually took out the Amazon one myself and think most people's vouchers have already arrived
Are there any cancellation fees? And is the policy is cancelled by myself will I get a pro-rata refund?

Well I've risked it haha, contents insurance plus Netflix

Didn't see a cancellation cost either.

Well, your smartphone alone likely costs more to replace. Not talking about everything else in the house in case it gets emptied while you're at work or school.

Just cancel the insurance once you get the voucher then. Will cost you nothing, so what difference does the excess make???

No worries that's your choice. Are there other policies with low premium and lower excess?

This is clearly a new company trying to build there customer base thus offering discounts/vouchers. The excess is only payable if you claim do you need to decide if your claim is likely to be a lot more. A 3-4 year old mobile probably not, but theft, flood or fire in your home then yes.

That's what I'm thinking, hopefully it'll be easy to cancel!
from the T&C's:

Cancelling the policyYou can cancel this policy at any time. If you cancel this policy within 14 days of thestart date, or after you receive your policy documents, whichever is later, we willrefund you for the period of unused cover. If you decide you don’t want this policyafter 14 days of the start date or after you receive your policy documents, whicheveris later, and you have not made a claim, we will charge you for the period that wehave provided cover to you. If you have made a claim during the policy period thenyou will have to pay the full premium, so you won’t receive a refund. To cancel any insurance policy please notify us by sending an email tohelp@hellogetsafe.com or calling

I want to know this too lol
I dont need insurance but I need netflix. Still looks worth it, yes? Kinda confusing.
U have to put ur credit card number before they give u the quote??
It's a good deal because of the voucher, but ultimately the insurance cover is poor and expensive. I've literally signed up just to get a voucher and not for the actual insurance

You get the quote first, card number is the last thing
No you dont get the quote first bfr the quote i got the page for card
Still waiting for my Amazon voucher and it has been longer than the two weeks. They haven't even addressed my query about it despite receiving an automated response saying "Thank you very much for your request. We have received your question and will be there for you in a few moments to take care of your matter".
If they cant even get that right/honour the offer then it doesn't exactly bode well for any potential future insurance claims.

It's legit, I agree it seems to good to be true but it honestly is easy as it sounds

I signed up on 19th March and received the Amazon voucher on 3rd April

Thanks Dan.
After Hiscox; among other insurers; behaviour in refusing to honour their business interruption protection clause I wouldn’t touch them with a barge poll

I did lol

Done it this morning
Thanks OP. Opted for the lowest amount £5000 and highest excess and got monthly premium and got a premium of £4.23 (lower than OP). Will obvs cancel once I get my Netflix card
Will hang off on the Amazon offer returning (hopefully)
