Starts: 25/04/2012 Expires: 01/05/2012

May be in-store only or offer start date show`s as 25/04/2012

I love it when they have this deal on, its usually online and in-store.

I bought today, its only 5% discount.
6*9.49 Stamford Brook Shiraz 2011 Ozzy = 2*12-1.20=22.80
also 48 nectar points

They had this some time ago at Tescos and Sainsburys. Then, they had 3 for 12 (£4 each) AND 25% off if you bought 6 bottles or more. However, they took the 25% off the original price (not the £4 price), so it worked out to be even cheaper! Anyone know if this might work again?

didn't work with me last time I bought 6 small bottles which were on offer and only took 25% off final price. Maybe different for large bottles.

starts on Wednesday...

They have had some good deals on wine recently. WIll stock up again I think with the the discounts they have running.

Thanks for the heads up!

As multi buy alcohol drinks deals are now illegal in Scotland, I doubt this offer will apply North of the border!

Multibuy deals banned.

Thanks OP looks like a trip to Sainsburys is in order tomorrow then

5 mini bottles + a bottle of Krug or similar could be a good shout depending on the restrictions this time.

Does anyone know where I can find a list of all the wines included in the 3 for £12 offer please?

It hasn't the last couple of times at Tesco, as they've changed the way they discount the items on you're receipt. Loved these deals when it took it off the original price, I was getting some decent Marlborough Sav Blanc for less than £3, the shad was always full!!

Tesco Wine by the Case currently have 25% off everything, I just got a half-case (6 bottles) of McGuigan Classic Cabernet Sauvignon for £17.04, and McWilliam's Markview Heritage Series Shiraz for £19.14 (they are OOS at the moment but usually more stock is allocated regularly)

Thanks for that, already been mentioned it starts tomorrow

Just had a £10 off £50 spend personalised voucher code, so if I combine that with some regular shopping, and wait till tomorrow, I can get say 12 bottles from the '3 for £12' range for £48 less 25% = £36 plus add anorther £64 of shopping to get free delivery too (on Thursday), and the total cost will be £90. The wine alone @ £10 is more than that (albeit overpriced in the beginning)

Brilliant combination of offers for once, and the timing of the voucher couldn't be better.

Cheers OP for spotting this offer for tomorrow.

When will JS stop conning their customers into trying to believe that they're magnanamous enough to give away a £10 bottle of wine for £3.
I despair!
Best way to use this offer is to buy some decent £10 - £16 wine for £7.50 - £12 and enjoy it instead of swilling the 6 bottles of £18 stuff. They don't discount the £10 - £16 stuff by 70% cos they would be selling it for a lot less that they had paid for it!

will have a look thanks

Depends who you are buying it for. I love a decent wine but my wife, despite my best efforts, doesn't appreciate the difference between a £3 bottle and a £13 bottle. So why waste the good stuff on those who don't enjoy it!

Some of the stupidly priced wine tastes like crap any way so bring on the cheapies

I need 3 or 4 cases of champagne, not crazy keen on monopole though

The OP says,

"more than likely online as well"

Well I can't see anything online that says its on :-(

Shame this deal isn't available in drought-ridden Scotland.....

How does this work online then? does the 25% come off online or do you have to wait for delivery like tescos? advise please

Oh yes, my apologies, although quite why it isn't taking it off my basket, i have yet to work out.

It doesn't have to be 6 of one particular wine does it, can it basically be any six wines and you get the 25% off??

Oh, its ok now, discount wont show in basket but will show up on receipt once wine delivered - there is a note at bottom of checkout page :-)

Ah I see.

My basket has the wine discounted at £4 (on the 3 for £12 offer). Do we think they will take the £9.99 bottles and do the 25% on that first and then the multibuy (wrongly IMO) or do it on the £4 price.

If the former, I might change my wine purchases to only the £9.99 bottles.

I bought 12 of the £9.99 bottles that were 3 for £12 and it knocked the discount off the reduced price, so they ended up costing £3 a bottle.
