Wouldn't advise on getting the charge 3. I 'upgraded' from the charge 2. Charge 2 was much more robustly built and the swimming tracking on the charge 3, which is why I bought it, isn't very accurate. I have returned my charge 3 and will be buying a brand new charge 2 as I stupidly sold my charge 2 before I was sure on the charge 3.

Need to go on o2 priority and click from there.
Why is this worth 7 times more than a Xiaomi Mi band 3?

Why is this worth 7 times more than a Xiaomi Mi band 3?

Sounds silly but the app is way better, so it gives a much nicer overall experience and feels like a worthwhile addition to your lifestyle and even community if you take advantage of the social side of it.

The Xiaomi stuff feels much more limited.

But the main one for me is Fitbit does constant heart monitoring where Xiaomi only does it when you press the button, so you can literally go forever without checking your heart rate.

That helps you build a better overall picture of heart health and overall fitness.

There's a reason Fitbit are market leaders. I wasn't a believer until I got one last month.
Good price for this new model, been thinking of upgrading from my 2 which still works ok despite the strap breaking and bring held together with superglue.
There are problems with the Fitbit Charge 3 freezing, mine has frozen 3 times in 6 weeks and I have eventually managed to recover it. many other people have them bricked after a freeze.

Please be warned.

If you're within 2 years of buying it, fitbit will replace the strap for free, really easily. I had so many free replacement bands including a leather one for free when they didn't have the colour of my original band in immediate stock.

Actually, in the wearables sector, Xiaomi are first, Apple are second, and Fitbit are third place.

Didn't realise the warranty was 2 years for the strap. Fitbit sent me a new tracker when the connected GPS failed miserably on Android Oreo to record any cycle rides entirely. I rely on Strava instead for long rides, and just let Fitbit do the auto capture of short rides.
anyone can use the offer because the code on the priority app isn't unique - just add the promotion code on the o2 website "UNWRAP25" - just bought one for my mum and I'm not on O2

Did you get a confirmation email confirming your order by any chance? Placed an order, and it said I should have received an email confirming my order details. Been over a day and still haven't received anything.

It's O2, they never send confirmation emails. Only option that works is to download it on the order confirmation screen after paying.

Ah okay, didn't see the option to download when placing my order so can't download now. Would I still receive a dispatch email? It said delivery would be next working day, so Thursday.

They promise emails but never send them, made loads of orders from O2 and you won't receive a single email. The next time you hear from O2 will be UKMail knocking on your door with your delivery.

I wouldn't be concerned; I have ordered from them before and didn't receive confirmation but the products always arrive on time
Cool, thank you both.
Anyone ordered one or have one? Misses has a charge 2 and its brilliant so this in theory should be much better.
I and the other half (she upgraded from the Charge 2) have had the Charge 3 since mid-November, generally get a week out of it from 'basic use' until it needs a recharge. Using the activity programmes noticeably drains it. We haven't had any issues with either device.. she describes it as a "tiny bit" of an upgrade all round compared to the 2.
I can confirm that you don't need to be an o2 customer. Just add the code UNWRAP25 at checkout. Great spot op
Great spot, thanks for posting. Ordered one as a gift and downloaded order as suggested, no email received so good advice

Glad that my advice came in handy for you Hope everything goes okay with your order and with the UKMail delivery.
Just had to cancel my order because although they are coming up as in stock they actually don’t have any stock. I was told they didn’t know how long it might be before stock comes in so I cancelled the order & will be receiving a refund. Bit annoyed as website is misleading saying about next day delivery!

UPDATE- I ordered again and chose pick up from store, luckily my local store had a few left so got one at the discounted price, happy days!

Ordered mine on Boxing Day with the discount. Happy Days! Didn't download order though so no confirmation. Next day delivery advised on Order. 29th & still no Charge 3 & no way of tracking. Not so happy 😔

Yes I'm having exactly this problem 😣

Ordered early on Boxing Day for next day delivery, confirmed on screen with image captured. Still no product.
Rubbish service O2 and very slow responding to my queries; still no answer from them.
Next time I review my mobile provider it will be very hard to chose O2 based on this experience. Unimpressed.
At least you received an email, i had nothing but waited in all day as per scheduled delivery. 02 don’t reply to live chat, ignore requests for update or cancellation, shocking service and still have cheek to advertise item on website! 😡
We ordered two of these on the 27th December and didn’t receive a confirmation email. Spoke to two people on live chat seeing as we haven’t had confirmation or a dispatch email and are expecting the item to arrive due to allocated delivery dates on 31st December. They said it’s in hands of the “back end team” and she’s pushed us as far forward as possible.
She did confirm that there seemed to be a shortage of fitbits from the supplier... but she never said as to why o2 website always says that they are in stock.

We shall wait to see if it actually arrives tomorrow...
I'm in communication with o2 via Facebook messenger. I'll update if I get anything sensible from them to update. Fingers crossed - worried that by the time this is sorted one way or another all the current other not so good deals will have finished! 😔

I've just been on to live chat and they said it has now returned into stock so we shall see our orders in 1 to 3 days, I hope they are correct!
Ordered this on the 26th. Called up each day the last three days to get stock updates to no avail. Just called them and they said it’ll be a couple of weeks for delivery so I’ve just cancelled it. She said I could reorder it and pick up in store though. Don’t understand how they can still be saying on the website available for next day delivery when it’s clearly not. Sigh.
Similar story here- ordered 27th, received no confirmation email. Called up just now and after having to explain what a fitbit was(!) they said it is out of stock and 'wouldn't be able to say' when they would be back in stock and offered to cancel order.
Has anyone received their item? I ordered mine on the 27th and was forced to cancel my order on the 28th as I never received the item. I am still interested in ordering however I dont want the same issue.
Ordered this morning and got an out of stock message via email... Again after site said it was in stock
We spoke to a team member on live chat re our order and they said that they are out of stock. We cancelled our order and picked up some fitbits in store instead using the o2 priority in store code. Seems to be the only way to know when you’ll get your fitbit!
Ordered mine to collect in local O2 store, picked up within 2 hours. Not sure what stock other O2 shops have but mine had some in. Worth checking then can collect.
Thanks for confirming that information Christine, security's now been successfully completed. For your reference, your order number is: xxxxxxxxxxx. We're sorry you've not received your order of the Fitbit. We understand how frustrating it is especially as you've received an email to let you know when to expect this.

We can see the order was placed on 26 December, however this is currently showing as out of stock. There's no record of an order delivery email being sent to your address and it does seem the email that you received was in error.

We're afraid we don't have a timescale for when we'll have more in stock. However, we do get deliveries regularly and we hope to have this back soon. When in stock, the Fitbit will be dispatched and you'll receive an email to notify you it's on the way. Alternatively, if you'd prefer us to arrange a cancellation of the order and a refund, please let us know.
Did you order online via same process but opted for store pick up instead of home delivery just?

Don't want to be reordering and have it turn out the store pick up date was dependent on them having central stock to send there
I've been in store locally no stock ordering some though I'm not hopeful not cancelling my online order until I have one in my hot little hand. The saga continues & site still poporting to have it in stock!
