Just been to their web site , couldn't find info. Who does one contract with when buying food: Hungry House or the takeaway shop? The web site is void of complaint procedure too,if relevant?

Edit: found it under the terms:-
Payment

Once your order has been accepted, this represents an agreement between you the customer and the restaurant. The restaurant has sole responsibility for this order. Cash payments are made directly to the restaurant fulfilling the order. If you have chosen to pay with credit or debit card on the Site then the transaction is processed by hungryhouse.com as an authorised agent of the restaurant.

Also it is a bit worrying when you just use this portal , so called directory , and one of the terms is, how does one actually damage them when ordering a takeaway?
Cut and pasted from their web site:-

Sweet deal

Was growing tired of Just-Eat's higher prices and arrogant/idiotic attitude when contacted about it.

Hot.

you cant be hungry, you sound as if you have ate a couple of dictionary's for your dinner

Haha - This is the first time I have used Hungry House, mainly because Just-Eat have a large number of takeaway restaurants in our area, in comparison to Hungry House that have 3. Used the deal OK but what a joke they are... They take the money from your account without confirming the order so I have just got the email "Sorry but the restaurant had declined your order, but you can use your money for another takeaway or wait for a refund which will be processed in a number of days." That also means I won't actually be able to get the 25% off because it will have already processed it on that transaction. What a bunch of cowboys, I have never come across that with Just-Eat. How can they take the money first without confirming the order? I have never had a restaurant decline an order with Just-Eat either...

none in my local area but Voted Hot as its 25% off and just-eat never do discount's. Plus its a Weekend.

sounds good - only 3 restaurants in my area though signed up

It's just your luck. Just Eat generated errors when I was paying last night. Order didn't go through to the takeaway, but Just Eat took the money. Their chat help sorted though & gave me a credit so that I could order again within 30 minutes for free. Just need to wait for my bank to return the money though.

Cheers just ordered my Chinese. Perfect weather for a discounted take away

Great! Works a treat! Now to eat everything.
