I stayed in a DeVere hotel last year at £10 per room per night, so DeVere have had better promotions than this, though it's not bad if you were planning on staying anyway. Food at 25% off is not that attractive as it's all 100% overpriced at best.

Hotel was nice though (Staverton Park), and complimentary tea/coffee available all day is something other hotels should take a lead from.

Good deal if you need a room during those months.

Bolton was very good when i stayed there.

we stayed at the Daresbury in march for £79 ....that was for 2 Adults 2 Children in a deluxe suite and included breakfast and evening meal !......was a lovely hotel and would go again although i think this deal would work out a lot more expensive as the menu was very steep !

Ive just come from staverton. I recommend it! Golf course and gym/swimming pool are incred. £25 is a bargain! Food is ok priced and free tea and coffee 24 hours a day

cold, none in scotland

MMM do Whites in Bolton and catch the game... shall I

We did the £10 a night at Crewe last year went out for evening meal and then they try'd charging for breakie we didn't have.
So great deal just plan Breakie out at asda/morrison to complete the saving

No truth in the rumour you were spotted at the Hotel bar, ordering 2 Tonic Waters with Ice and topping them up with Vodka from the Value bottle you had concealed in your coat in the toilets before cleaning out the towels from the maid trolley and demanding a £5 refund on the cost of the room 'cos the bed wasn't turned down is there ???

Where do you think Peebles is, then, if not in Scotland ?????????????? Plenty of availability at £29 per night, just booked a couple of stays over the New Year...I wish people would read offers properly before voting cold...

Voted HOT! Thanks to OP

YOU might want to breakfast at Asda....most people would be happy to pay for a freshly cooked breakfast, then relax with the papers and a nice cuppa. Stayed at Peebles several times and always great value food ...and with 25% off food this time, even better value! Really can't see the point in treating yourself to a break...then playing Scrooge on the food front.I'd hate to think I was treating my better half to a nice break...then saying " You can't eat in the hotel, let's do a burger on the night, and Asda breakfast " she'd think I was a total cheapskate.....each to his own, I guess.

Nothing says romance like a drive-through Maccy D's for an evening meal and an Asda breakfast the next day - lol

No point getting a good deal on something then wasting money on something else. We took breakfast stuff with us to Staverton Park expecting breakfast to be overpriced. Evening meal consisted of a short drive to Daventry where we had a 'happy hour' curry for around £7 each. Add to that in the evening, we had a nice bottle of wine that we brought from home, sat outside at the back of the hotel in the summer evening watching dusk over the golf course. That's another £15 saved, and at least we know the wine was good.

Booked £25 for a room new years eve, not bad.

I've used the de Vere offers a few times. The Royal Bath at Bournemouth is lovely and have had good deals there with evening meal and breakfast.

They do have "heritage" and "venue" hotels. The venue hotels are nothing special - no character and usually full of groups there for training courses and seminars though they do have more in the way of gold courses and outside activities. The heritage places are really nice proper old comfortable hotels so choose your place according to your tastes.
